This Lady is not only an awesome jeweler, she is also an awesome artist, she has created an regional cover drawing for my book of poetry Bright Eyes Into A New Day, which will be published shortly, I have been doing business with this lady since 1991, when She drew the cover photo for my book. I am proud and honored to also call this lady one of my dear friends. If you want a regional, one of a kind piece of jewelry then this is the person to contact with your ideas of what you would like done.

Brandon was incredibly responsive and demonstrated a level of competence and professionalism I usually do not experience on a first engagement with an unknown service provider. He was on time, very competitive from a pricing perspective and delivered a high-quality experience for me and my guests. The party would not have been the same without the photo booth and Brandon. My family, friends and I will have these memories forever and have been able to enjoy the physical prints from the point of the flash. It's so much more enjoyable to hold a photo in your hand than to simply share on a digital screen. The beauty is that with Brandon's service, we get both. As for using a photo booth for gatherings. It was transformational for our event and I would recommend for any type of party or event. It's easy and fun and brings a new level of experience to the party. I highly recommend Brandon and the Brandon Vaccaro Studio. Michelle

Kelli Pearson is a wonderful ad designer, artist, graphic designer and map maker. She has personally designed magazine ads for my Ox Bow Marina and Korth's Pirates Lair Marina in the Sacramento Delta area that boosted our business berth rental sales. Her ads had lots of eye appeal and helped to market our business to our boating customers. In other advertising design areas, she has worked closely with the California Delta Chambers & Visitor's Bureau and designed a 60-page color Travel Guide Brochure in which she helped create many of the local Chamber business ads and she designed the entire brochure into a very polished professional piece. She is a delight to work with and always listens well to the concerns of her customers. I give her a high rating for her exceptional talent as an artist as well as her excellent eye for designing excellent business ads.

After acquiring several quotes from various artist, and having to deal with all sorts of "artist" egos, I came across Marc. All I needed was the name of my business painted out front, much easier said than done, and he seem to have no issue taking on the job. A week later the name was out front in LARGE great looking font!! (He even mocked up a designed to go along with it enhancing the look and feel of my bar.) His quote was very reasonable and unlike other "artist" he was open to talk and negotiate. Overall I was extremely please with the final product and with his work ethic. Antologia Vinoteca.

I am an illustrator and fine artist whose greatest calling is as a visual storyteller. This is best expressed in developing consistent universes in concept art, storyboarding, sequential graphics for print, and story illustrations. I am a printmaker, and I design posters and t-shirts as well, again from the idea of creating an image that tells a story. I have storyboarded for NBC's Heroes webisode series, for infomercials, for the action and dance sequences of Stomp The Yard II. I am a board game designer as well, and I would love to speak with you about creating a board or card game to suit your needs for promotion, education or just as an icebreaker.

About

Hi, I'm an experienced Online Marketing Consultant with over eight years of experience in SEO, PPC and Online Marketing techniques including guest posting, social media marketing and themed link building. Now I'm holding a Internet Manager position at several UK online businesses, taking care of the initial SEO set up of my clients as well as the permanent maintenance of their dynamic websites as well as PPC Management and Social Media Management. Additionally I take care of their off-site SEO activities as well as the social media profiles for some of the clients. The recommendations from my superiors as well as my peers at my previous job positions are available at my LinkedIn profile. I'm a Google Adwords Certified professional. I believe I have the knowledge and experience to apply for SEO related positions that require skill, knowledge and experience. In order to be assured in my SEO expertise and knowledge I would like you to take a look at: 1. rockdalemattressfactory com au for "mattresses Sydney" at google com au. 2. alumen.co.uk for "schuco bifold doors" at google.co.uk I'm comfortable and experienced in using many SEO tools, like IBP, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Keyword Tool, Google Suggest, Screaming Frog, Moz Pro, Xenu. My job requires testing and altering web developers' html code for SEO purposes. All of the clients' websites have a unique CMS systems and are dynamic websites that are being monitored and maintained through the Webmaster Tool. So clients often add pages, erase old ones (product pages) and my job is to maintain the website and minimize the effects of those changes towards SEO. Very often the on-site SEO process requires SEO copy-writing in order to prepare the website to be indexed right. So in these three years of my SEO work experience I had the chance to test various styles of SEO copy-writing as well. Now I feel very comfortable doing this for a completely new website or changing the text on an old website. I have over 6 years of experience in off-site SEO techniques: guest posting, local citations, link building, blog comments, forum comments and others and I'm very comfortable with the WordPress, Drupal, Jomla and custom CMS platforms. During my time in Seavus (1,5 years), beside my obligations as a Online Marketing Coordinator, I was the blog administrator for pmtips.net, technically administering the blog as well as negotiating with bloggers. At this moment I'm performing all of my activities online (remotely) and I would be very happy if this method of work is suitable for you. It is not a problem for me to adjust to your office work time if necessary. On the other hand having a SEO specialist here in Macedonia, will result in significantly lower expenses for you and provide you with the same results as if I was at your office physically.

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

Why should you hire a web designer?

Your website is often the first thing your customers see when they’re searching for a business or service on the web. As the face of your organization, your website needs to be attractive and functional, offering the latest features that users now expect. To plan and design a site that both reflects your company’s mission and values and appeals to customers takes a professional web designer. While free online services can help people set up websites, web designers can provide a unique solution made specifically to meet customers’ personal or business needs.

Most web designers offer a wide variety of services to make your website aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Modern web design must be mobile-friendly and scalable, capable of expanding to include a blog, social media sites, and even video streaming; web designers are experts at integrating various web technologies. They can build the site, add functionality, test it, launch it on a live server, and track and maintain its performance.

In addition to web design and graphic design, some web design providers also offer development and security services, including search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing and management, logo design, site maintenance, domain registration and hosting, protection against malware, and digital marketing and content services.

What makes a good logo design?

A good logo is an easily identifiable, memorable image that represents your brand. A good logo design aligns with your business model and expresses your company’s core values. A good logo design is simple, appealing, and easy for customers and viewers to quickly process. Some of the key components of a great logo are type, color palette and design. The scale, font and arrangement of the text you select will all make a difference in the feel and representation of your brand. A graphic designer will help you home in on the colors that best represent your identity and help you keep the color palette simple. The design of your logo includes the shapes you select and the way the color and type are arranged together. Investing in the services of a professional to create your logo design is likely a smart investment for any size business. Nationally, the average price range for a logo designer ranges from $170 to $250.

How much do web designers charge?

The average cost for hiring a web designer varies greatly depending on the scope of the work, which may range from building a site from scratch to rebranding an existing one, as well as the amount of content and graphics the designer will create. In general, the more complex the project, the more time the design agency will have to spend. Because web designers often work on an hourly basis, the longer the project, the higher the costs; you can count on the web designer spending at minimum 10 hours to create a very basic website with just a handful of pages with few elements. Prices also depend on the designer’s skill set, the process, and the company’s rates. In general, the national average cost for a basic website package starts at $500, but a customized website can cost as much as $2,000 or more. Here are typical average hourly rates, broken out by the complexity of the work:

  • Basic layout and user interface: $15-$40 per hour
  • Content management system design: $20-$50 per hour
  • Custom website design with custom code: $45-$75 per hour

What should you look for in a website designer?

A professional web designer creates the look and feel of your website, collaborating with you to choose colors, creating logos and other branding materials, establishing page layouts, and creating sample pages. An important part of web design is making sure the site is functional, meets your goals, and is easy for users to navigate. When you’re looking to hire a web designer, start by reviewing the person’s portfolio. Look for samples of work that match what you envision for your website, including experience building the types of pages or features you want. Make sure the web designer is familiar with your industry and understands both industry trends and web design trends — an old-fashioned or out-of-touch site will turn customers away rather than intrigue them.

Because web designers tend to work as freelancers on a project basis, they must be excellent communicators, willing to manage their own work, and available on your schedule. Some critical skills, such as working collaboratively and responding enthusiastically to feedback, aren’t core to good web design, but make working with a web designer much easier. Finally, look for a web designer who has cross-functional knowledge, such as understanding marketing and conversion rate optimization in addition to web design.

What do you look for in a web design company?

The web design company you choose must be able to interpret your company’s mission and identity and turn it into an appealing website that connects with potential customers. They must help you reach your target audience and meet your business goals. A web design agency should have on staff both talented web designers, with fresh ideas and extensive technical and creative skills, and a marketing team that knows how to drive traffic to your site, encourage visitor engagement, and convert visitors into customers. Web designers should be able to build in search optimization and integrate your site with a content management system and e-commerce tools. Look, too, for a website design company that understands responsive design and can optimize your website for mobile devices and desktop browsers. The right web design company understand current design and website trends, has experience building sites in a variety of industries (not just yours), and has an expansive portfolio of live websites. Finally, don’t simply hire the cheapest bidder — in web design, as in all things, you get what you pay for.

Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
