I posted my need for someone to cut my grass and Herbie replied with in seconds.. When he got here he was a nice guy and told me he would be able to do the Job but on his off day since he works another job. The problem that I had was he came on Thursday Dec 19 and I was having a Christmas party at my house on Saturday and needed the grass to be cut before the party. He couldn't do it on that Saturday but was going to do it on his day off on Tuesday. I took matters into my own hand and took out my weed whacker and started chopping down the 1 foot of grass that had grown. I actually messed it up because I did the weed wacking around 430 and by 5:15 it was already dark out so I was not able to finish the job and collect all of the Grass that was cut... I totally take responsibility on that one.. Then I found out we were able to move our Christmas party to Tuesday night. So I called Herbie and told him He can come Tuesday but around 2pm when I got out of work so I can show him specifically what I want done and I could give him a check that day. He couldn't because he had other jobs that day. When I got home my lawn looked really bad.. Granted I messed it up myself and I get that because Im not the professional but all he did was come over mow the lawn cleaned up and then left...He edged the sides which was ok I personally do a better job than what he did, cleaned up and went on his way. I had to mow the lawn 2 additional times myself to clean up his mess... There was patches, uncut grass, uneven spots that I had to fix. I messed it up hoping me paying a professional would clean up my mess only to find out I had to clean up his mess... I was clearly unhappy with his Job and I told him that via text and though it states clearly on his review and profile that if people don't like his work at the end of the month "They don't pay me" . I told him I don't like the Job and feel he should be a man of integrity and honor his word of not paying him but unfortunately he is not. He won't stop texting me asking me to pay his bill and continues to attack me as a person with his insults. His actions thus far just shows me everything he says on his profile is not true. DO NOT USE THIS GUY.

Thank you for your opinions. I am always trying to improve and provide a better experience for each customer so it is helpful to get feedback. With this job specifically, I did my best to be flexible, available, and more than fair with what I agreed to charge. After dealing with some difficult circumstances such as grass that was at least 12 inches tall and soaking wet from all of the rain, I completed the project to the best of my ability. The customer was happy at the time but then 2 weeks later he started to complain and said he wouldn't pay me. If my work doesn't meet your expectations then please just be honest with me from the beginning. I will always go out of the way to satisfy any customer as long as they are fair with me too.
