Appliance Repair or Maintenance
I'm not happy! I was trying to help out my sister who's fridge broke last night and I usually use Thumbtak for all my repair needs. First off his ad said the cost was $45 for a consultation, when he contacted my sister he told her is was $65. I emailed him and asked why there was a change in price he said there was an error in the advertisement and that he would honor the $45 dollar charge but when he got there he charged her $75 dollar. He said he had to do something so there was more of a charge. This guy is a scammer. I dont understand how you can come for a $45 dollar consultation and walk away with a $75 dollar check.Sep 19, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?each job is different and although a repair may look easy to fix, we often see more variables than what is visibly wrong. therefore, prices are based per job. Call us to get started.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?typically, I ask about what it is that the appliance is not doing. Then I ask the model number so I can give a better price estimate to the cost of the repair.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? With over 27 years, we have seen some very interesting problems with in-home appliances. Fast and friendly service done right the first time.
