Introduction: Teaching healthy, mesmerizing, and captivating singing is my passion and I will be 100% committed to your progress. Included in being a student of mine is performance opportunities EVERY MONTH with a supportive, talented, and inspiring singer community. Want to sing and perform like a Diva? I can also develop both your singing and your stage presence to help you channel your inner Beyonce, Ariana, Mariah, or Shawn Mendes. I combine healthy technique and stamina from both opera & pop and bring it to today’s popular styles such as Pop and R&B so you have the best techniques and powerhouse vocals from both styles to truly stand out in today’s music landscape. I do virtual lessons with singers and performance artists all over the country along with meeting students in lovely Studio City! You will learn how to reach high notes with ease, charm your audience and get them on your side, increase both your low and high ranges, create vocal melody lines, and have a fun time learning a life changing skill. I have over 18 years of training in voice, a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Operatic Vocal Performance and have sung at the Hollywood Bowl, Warner Brothers Studios (multiple events), Carnegie Hall, House of Blues, Hard Rock Cafe, Arrowhead Pond Stadium, and at corporate and private events nationwide. I also teach private and group lessons for the National Children's Choir at UCLA and for both kids and adults at LACC. I have an in depth knowledge on what it takes to succeed as a performer in the often challenging, often changing music business. Students leave each lesson feeling inspired, confident, and motivated to go out there and make their dreams happen!

My daughter has been taking vocal lessons from Nicolette now for several months, and we both couldn't be happier with her! My daughter (14yrs old) started off with no knowledge or experience in singing, but after only a few months working with Nicolette, she improved so much that people around her started to notice this talent that we never knew she had! :) I've seen a real change in my daughter's confidence and the way she presents herself in general, which is so important for teen girl, especially. I like that Nicolette structures her lessons depending on what each student can do or wants or needs and takes them to places where they can practice performing (like karaoke bars) and attends events that they participate in. I'm pretty sure you won't find many teachers who go out of their way to do things like this! Basically, she's really supportive and encouraging, but at the same time is straightforward and honest with criticism and tips for improvement. I definitely recommend her. You won't be disappointed! :)

Right from the first lesson, we knew that Nicolette was an amazing and very special instructor. She is a nurturing, experienced and enthusiastic teacher for our 12 year old daughter. Her breadth of knowledge about musical theater and performance is awe inspiring, as each lesson goes far beyond the mechanics of voice. She covers stage presence, acting tips, and every facet of what it means to be a performer on stage, which awakens the confidence in her student's abilities. She thoroughly prepared our daughter to be the lead in "Mary Poppins" at the Madrid Theater in Canoga Park. Our daughter could not have achieved th without Nicolette's outstanding guidance. I absolutely love working with Nicolette from Mesmerize Studios. I have been working with her for a couple of months now and can see improvement in my vocal skills and not to mention a boost in my confidence. She is very passionate about her craft and that peers into her work when she is coaching me . She also provides a comfortable and creative learning space. She allows my opinions to be heard and works through any concerns I may have while also making sure her years of experience are still being incorporated. I leave our lessons feeling accomplished and challenged at the same time! What I love most about working with Nicolette is the fact that she is very observant and knows what is best for the students voice. She also works on stage presence, with is super important! Nicolette pushes her students to sing outside of her studios like at local karaoke bars. She is currently setting up a karaoke night where all of her students will come together and perform for one another. How awesome is that? Also the cost for her lessons are amazing. She has great deals on her voice packages! I would recommend her to everyone I know.

Nicolette is a very kid-friendly, enthusiastic and fun person. When I come over for lessons, she makes everything fun (even the assignments). Nicolette is very organized and reliable when my parents have to make an appointment. Nicolette is the best singing teacher I have ever had.
