Renata exudes goodness and was thorough in her inquiries about my dog's needs. I definitely hope to hire her again as needed for dog walks.Aug 1, 2016Verified
She was just amazing! I had her come over to watch my dog during my wedding. My house was full of people getting ready to leave- it was a bit stressful. Leaving my dog was the least of my worries! She made me feel comfortable and at ease!Jun 24, 2016Verified
Trustworthy and reliable, everything you want in a pet sitter. Renata has managed my complicated household of dogs and cats on many occasions with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend!!Jun 7, 2016
Walkie Doggies is a great business to work with. Renata is very skilled with dogs (and other animals!) and brings a wealth of experience to her work. She is prompt, very easy-going, and goes the extra mile for your beloved pet. Her prices are very fair and I will keep using her well into the future!Jun 7, 2016

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For training solutions, I charge $70 for a one to one and a half hour evaluation session. I then develop a training plan tailored to the dog's needs. For pet sitting, I charge $21 for a 1 1/2-2 mile walk or pet visit, $30 for a 3 mile walk, and $70 for an overnight visit with am and pm walks. Walk and train sessions are $45 for an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For training services, I meet a new client and their dog in their home or on neutral territory close to the owner's home. I evaluate the dog by asking the owners questions and observing behavior. I then develop a training plan and show the owner techniques, games, and training cues to assist the dog's behavior. I focus on positive and force-free training. For pet sitting and dog walking services, I typically meet a new client at their home for a meet and greet with the pets. I have a few questions about the routine and behavior of the pets and answer any questions they may have. I have a system of tracking pet sits and dog walks with an app called TIme to Pet, where clients can see what time I check in/out, pictures I upload, and the GPS track of where I walk their dog.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a B.S. in Biology which included some pre-vet course work. I have informally cared for friends and coworkers pets for 17 years. In addition, I cared for working dogs as part of my previous job as a biological consultant and spent six months working for another pet care agency full time. I am Pet CPR/First Aid trained with Pet Tech.
