Introduction: Walkie Doggies tailors your pet's care to you and your pet's needs. My primary focus is training and enriching dogs, positively. I offer training packages so that we can develop and customize a training plan for each dog. My calm demeanor is reflected both in my work with each individual dog and the results. Even though I love all pets, Walkie Doggies specializes in high energy, working, and large dogs. I enjoy making sure these dogs get the boundaries as well as stimulation and exercise they need! Walkie Doggies prides itself on the enrichment of your pet's life so that they can continue enriching your lives.

Walkie Doggies is a great business to work with. Renata is very skilled with dogs (and other animals!) and brings a wealth of experience to her work. She is prompt, very easy-going, and goes the extra mile for your beloved pet. Her prices are very fair and I will keep using her well into the future!

Trustworthy and reliable, everything you want in a pet sitter. Renata has managed my complicated household of dogs and cats on many occasions with no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend!!

Dog Sitting

She was just amazing! I had her come over to watch my dog during my wedding. My house was full of people getting ready to leave- it was a bit stressful. Leaving my dog was the least of my worries! She made me feel comfortable and at ease!

Cat Sitting

Renata did everything I asked, and emailed pictures of when she came each day. Did a great job.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

For training solutions, I charge $70 for a one to one and a half hour evaluation session. I then develop a training plan tailored to the dog's needs. For pet sitting, I charge $21 for a 1 1/2-2 mile walk or pet visit, $30 for a 3 mile walk, and $70 for an overnight visit with am and pm walks. Walk and train sessions are $45 for an hour.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For training services, I meet a new client and their dog in their home or on neutral territory close to the owner's home. I evaluate the dog by asking the owners questions and observing behavior. I then develop a training plan and show the owner techniques, games, and training cues to assist the dog's behavior. I focus on positive and force-free training. For pet sitting and dog walking services, I typically meet a new client at their home for a meet and greet with the pets. I have a few questions about the routine and behavior of the pets and answer any questions they may have. I have a system of tracking pet sits and dog walks with an app called TIme to Pet, where clients can see what time I check in/out, pictures I upload, and the GPS track of where I walk their dog.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a B.S. in Biology which included some pre-vet course work. I have informally cared for friends and coworkers pets for 17 years. In addition, I cared for working dogs as part of my previous job as a biological consultant and spent six months working for another pet care agency full time. I am Pet CPR/First Aid trained with Pet Tech.
