Everyone advised me against learning swimming as an adult but I took a chance with Veronique as my swimming-instructor and she proved everyone wrong. I am a BIG person and she made me overcome all my phobias and helped me learn. She is a really patient teacher and respects your limitations, and yet pushes you subtly to get out of your comfort zone. I am really happy that I found her and I highly recommend her as a swimming instructor for both kids and adults.The best part is she slips in a little bit of workout and Yoga tips into your swimming class, which helps you A LOT once you are in water and actually swimming :)
Melissa is by far the best yoga instructor I've ever had the pleasure of doing classes with. She has a unique gift to teach a class full of people on such an intimate and individualized level. She makes the atmosphere fun and peaceful, yet challenging. She gives individual attention to form and to difficulty level, adding more challenges for those who are ready for them, and modifying for those who are struggling. She creates an environment that is welcoming and not intimidating for beginners but also develops community and pushes everyone to really challenge themselves and "leave it all on the mat". When I got injured badly rock climbing and couldn't even walk, Melissa wanted so badly for me to be able to participate that she would work with me on the side while still effectively teaching the class. She showed me stretches and poses I could still do, and took my injury into consideration with each suggestion. I took Melissa's yoga classes at the rock climbing gym where I was a member. She catered her yoga classes incredibly well to our purpose. The poses, stretching, and strengthening were specific to rock climbing. Not only was the class amazing in and of itself, but it made us all better climbers as well. In all honesty, Melissa has ruined me for all other yoga instructors I've experienced. As much as I developed a love yoga in her classes and hated to miss, I have struggled finding motivation to attend other classes since she moved. When I go, I always find myself disappointed. Either I'm not challenged, or it's too difficult. The atmosphere is cold and distant, or it is too clique-ish. Melissa has many unique gifts that make her a phenomenal yoga instructor and make her classes both fun and rewarding. Because she instilled such a love in me for yoga, I'll keep trying to find someone who teaches as well as she does!
Justin is AWESOME. Working with justin has been a lot of fun. Not only with strength trainining, but flexibility and core training with yoga and acroyoga with my girlfriend and I. I go to justin to boost my workouts and mix things up. I'm a functional movement based sports doctor and I can tell you that I'm impressed with Justin's approach to exercise and wellness. No matter how much you think you know, you'll still learn more, reach your goals faster, and benefit from seeing an experienced and knowledgeable trainer like Justin. He's also big on nutrition, which is fundamental to being and feeling healthy. His company Kula Wellness also does meal prep which is pretty cool. 5 stars!!

Listens and acts on what I say I need and offers her professional knowledge as to what may be the most advantageous methods. Introduces all types of exercise methods, such as traditional, yoga, mat pilates and meditation.
Claire was amazing. I grew up doing yoga, but haven't done it since 2011 consistently because I couldn't right the right teacher. Claire has changed that! She was are of my injuries, was kind, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend her!
Karen is one of the greatest yoga teachers I've ever had! Not only does she give lots of adjustments and have the best playlists, her classes always connect me to the root of why I come to yoga. She reiterates throughout various postures the ultimate goal is to be present and connect deeper to our body, our breath, and our heart. Karen's perspective inspires me and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to sweat a lot and deepen their yoga practice and broaden their mindset.
I have been doing yoga for over a year and a half. At the beginning of my practice I was lucky to meet Denelle. Since my very first yoga class with Denelle I have continued to be her loyal student for several reasons. First, Denelle's class always offers creative poses that tie into an exhilarating flow. Denelle is always punctual starting and ending class on time. She is always cheerful and offers guidance verbally as well as physically. Denelle is amazing at adjusting your body to get it to that perfect yoga form. Denelle always pushing me to work harder and not be afraid to fail in the peak poses. Denelle's playlists are different and varied they mix techno, oldies, rock, rap and mediation music. Her thought out playlists allow every class be unique and exciting. I am so happy to have Denelle in my life and find her to be more than just my yoga teacher she is my friend and mentor. - Jeli

Margaret is an amazing yoga teacher. She embodies everything you could want in a teacher. She is patient, knowledgeable, and super responsive to students’ needs, whether it’s suggesting alternate poses for injury or fatigue, correcting poses, helping you get a deeper stretch or answering questions about the practice. I love Margaret’s classes. She is alway on-time and it’s fun and relaxing at the same time. I would highly recommend margaret as a teacher.
I’ve truly enjoyed training with Lauren. Through her enthusiasm and friendliness, she gently pushes me in my workouts, which I really need at times. She refularly challenged me while I was pregnant and working out with her and helped me transition back into workouts after giving birth to my daughter. My partner and I have been working out together with Lauren while on leave together, and we’ve really enjoyed how she uses partner work during our sessions. Lauren puts together creative workouts that combine strength training, yoga, stretching, and balancing. On my own, I’d likely just lift some weights; Lauren challenges me to improve all areas of my body. Overall, I really appreciate her outlook on physical fitness: she emphasizes kindness and appreciation for the body. I highly recommend her!
I hired Carissa for a private yoga session as my baby shower. She was on time, friendly, professional, and thoughtful. She brought extra support for me (9 month pregnant) and lead a pleasant session for both me and my non-pregnant friends. would hire her again in future!

I have known Alia for a very long time now and worked with her for about two years. She was the perfect trainer for me because of her background in Yoga. I have back and knee problems from when I played soccer and Volleyball and she was very responsive to that and knew all the right workouts and stretches. She kicked my butt with out out hurting me further. So if you are someone who has any kind of back problem or anything really she can work around that! Thank you Alia for your service and pushing me to be my best :)

I had never had a private yoga session before but Jennifer showed me how much of a difference it can make on my practice. Once we started, I immediately felt calm and ready to take on the movement. She broke down harder moves so that now I can do things I wasn't able to do before. She also teaches a great blend of flow / cardio and relaxation. Would highly recommend.
Brett and his team were wonderful! We used a few of the services that EWS offers massage, desk yoga and healthy cooking classes. The people in our offices would line up to sign up; it was always a full house. I would recommend EWS to any company looking to provide Professional on-site wellness service to their employees.

I treat people as individuals, with a unique set of issues and gifts. I try to find in people where they are alive and moving, and bring that energy to places that are asleep or stagnant. I was trained in Hawaii at lomi-lomi, which gives deep fluid strokes along meridian lines, allowing maximum movement and flow in the body. Pain is stagnation, movement creates ease. I love helping people live fuller and more happy, peaceful lives. I love being in a healing energy, and helping people access more healing, peace, and joy in themselves and their lives. It makes the world a better place.
I love teaching small groups. I prefer to do private lessons for a maximum of three people at any point in time.
