Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am good at what I do, and i love what I do. I teach riders great balance and how to communicate effectively with their horse. I teach riders how to ride with techniques they can transfer to any horse. My core philosophy is safety first; we achieve safety through balance and leadership. I am a USEA certified instructor and an approved pony club riding center! I get to be outdoors all day, play with horses, and teach others about riding and horsemanship.

I've worked and taken lessons at multiple barns since I moved to Los Angeles two years ago. GSF has become my home away from home. The facility is amazing (not at all what you would expect in Los Angeles). It's not just the wonderful instruction and dedicated trainer that I learn so much from, but the boarders and barn staff have become family in a way to me. Everyone greeted me with smiles when I first arrived and everyone wants to see everyone riding their best and having fun. The entire environment is about discovering improvement for both horses and people. I'm so excited it's now a Pony Club riding center as well. PC'er's need a great facility like GSF with xcountry in Los Angeles. The horses receive the best care in Los Angeles here my opinion, with the full gallop track, large turnout and staff and riders that are taught horse management and attention to detail.

I started taking lessons with Susan about three and a half years ago as a complete beginner. I do not own my own horse, but use Susan's lesson horses. At the time, my goal was to be able to ride well enough to participate in equestrian vacations. What I love about Susan is that she takes a rider through all phases of horsemanship, not just riding, but everything from the ground up, with an emphasis on safety and leadership. Now I've been on several riding vacations--a life long dream come true for me! Over the last year or so I have been learning the various phases of eventing, from dressage to stadium jumping to cross country. Susan is knowledgeable in all these areas. One of the things I like best about Goldspirit Farm is the relaxed and homey atmosphere. I have made many friends there, human, equine, and canine!

I have been riding at Goldspirit Farm for about a year and a half. When I got there I could barely jump two feet without ending up on the horses's neck. Now I can confidently jump 3ft and placed at my first two eventing competitions. Susan is a great instructor and a even better horse person. The barn has a great atmoshere. We have derby days with potlucks. There are so many jumps and different configurations you can never get bored. Highly recommend checking it out!
