Introduction: Hello I'm Jodi Peters, a writer, Wedding Officiant, and empty-nest mom. For several years, I've been pet and house-sitting for wonderful clients. I am also a thorough house cleaner (separate fee schedule). As a home-owner I understand how to treat your property, but more importantly I love to "borrow" and care for pets large and small. My $65 per night fee covers full care for up to 3 pets and looking after your home, plants and mail. Please only inquire for stays of 3+ nights. I do not offer drop-in care, only continuous (overnight) house and pet sitting. In years past I've been a momma to a rambunctious Border Collie, several horses and one extra large Staffordshire/ Pit mix. Now I'd love to take great care of your home and pets, so I hope to earn your business!

We recently went on vacation to Hawaii for week. We have 2 horses. Jodi has experience with horses and after talking with her we were comfortable having her take care of our horses. Our horses needed more care than just throwing them hay. They both had medicine and supplemental feed. She handled the different requirements for each horses. She kept us updated on how they were doing. She also kept their paddocks clean and sprayed for flies. When we returned and Jodi came over I could tell the horses liked her as well. I would recommend her and we are planning on using her in the future when we go on vacation.

My spouse and I -- and our 2 dogs -- adore Jodi! We personally interviewed 4 possible dog/house sitters that we contacted via Thumbtack and Jodi was instantly outstanding the minute she arrived for our first chat. She is warm and has a quick sense of humor as well as being intelligent, mature, and indeed reliable. Most importantly, our two dogs took to her immediately, and she showered loving attention on them right away too. I arranged for the dogs to spend time with Jodi again before the 11 overnights of pet sitting began and it was very clear that she was the perfect fit for our Romeo and Séamus. Dogs always know who the good people are, and dogs totally love Jodi! I should also say that she took wonderful care of our house and looked after the garden watering as well. She kept us updated and texted us pictures, too, which of course put our minds at ease while we were away in Ireland. Very thoughtful of her. When we returned home everything was in perfect condition. We're so happy to have found Jodi and we would will certainly hire her again the next time we travel. Just a marvelous all-around experience with Jodi, and she gets 5 stars from Romeo and Séamus too!

Jodi is great to work with and always reliable. Her combination of calm demeanor and conscientious personality make it great and wonderful to work with her. I never worry about my pet or house when she is there. My house was exactly as I left it, plants watered, house clean, and pet perfectly cared for. You couldn't ask for a better in home pet caregiver! I rarely take time to do online ratings-- I highly recommend her!

She is the BEST!! I feel so grateful to have found her. I recently moved to Orange Country and was really concerned about finding the right in home petsitter for my dogs. She is so kind and has a very calming personality which was really important with one of my more difficult dogs. She responses back immediately and always sends pictures of my dogs to me while I'm away. I feel so blessed to have her watching my dogs!
