Introduction: My listening, care and counsel are rooted in serving people from all walks of life in ministry since 1987. I recognize each person is an individual with their own story and journey. Beginning with where each person is, I help people take the next step toward health in their whole person (mind, body, spirit, emotions, relationships) so they have more hope and fulfillment in life. Meaningful conversations can bring needed change into lives, sometimes because it is an objective caring professional who looks at the picture from a different angle or because it is saying an issue outloud to brain storm options, or having a confidential safe place to explore the elements of something that needs revising. All those things happen in our time together.

I can't say enough good things about our experience with SoCal Weddings! Their professionalism, Christian values, and true desire to make the ceremony a special occasion was glorious to say the least. With short notice they created a beautiful personalized set of vows for us, and chose a wonderful setting at the botanical gardens to join us in holy matrimony under the glory of God.

Rebecca is amazing! From preparation through ceremony, she was enthusiastic, fun and so easy to work with, going out of her way (including a drive to Malibu!) to ensure a beautiful, joyful, God-centered, fantastically successful celebration of our love. Her warm, loving presence helped create the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony, in which all, regardless of faith, felt welcomed and loved. My husband and I are so thankful for Rebecca! For starters, my husband and i were married a few weeks ago and are in our mid 30s. We are not super young but have traditional values and felt that pre marital counseling could only enrich our already beautiful relationship. We used Rebecca and Jeff for pre marital counseling and as our wedding officiant. They were both very professional and thorough in their work. Rebecca met with us multiple times for pre marital counseling ( something that was very important to me even though we had lived together and been together for 3 years) . We felt very comfortable with her and were able to see our compatibility in a statistical format which was greatly appreciated on our end. Our incompatibilities were also highlighted statistically but were accompanied with personalized exercises to help us grow in these areas. Rebecca helped us further understand our individual backgrounds/upbringing and what role those characteristics play in our current relationship with one another and individually. As for Jeff, we had several conversations before our wedding day to where he was able to genuinely get to know each one of us and helped us tailor our ceremony so that it captured our personalities and highlighted our feelings toward one another. On your wedding day, you already have so many emotions running through your head you definitely want to have someone up there beside you that is confident in their work, takes the lead and as well poised. Jeff was all of these things and more!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You call, text or email me requesting specific services. I respond quickly to answer your questions and set an appointment to talk in person or over the phone or FaceTime to meet your timeline. You may pay me by cash, check or Venmo (mobile application to transfer funds from your credit card or bank account free of charge.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master of Social Work degree from an accredited university. Each year I participate in continuing education classes to keep up with the quickly evolving research in Social Work, Therapy, and Officiating Weddings.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated with a Master of Social Work degree in 1994 and want to serve people as they need assistance with their relationship issues including pre-marital counseling, wedding consultation, marriage counseling, family counseling and substance abuse treatment.
