As a beginner golfer I found the perfect instructor. Jim was super friendly and made me feel completely comfortable with my ability. We met the very next day after my "hire" and our first lesson was a blast. I learned so much and would definitely encourage anyone to reach out to him. In fact, I watched the lesson prior to mine for a while as Jim worked with a fine young golfer who walked away from his lesson delighted with the results. Needless to say, I was a little intimidated going in but after five minutes I was completely relaxed. He was great and I'll be back next week.
Very Personel on hands approach to teaching. I recommend her to any beginner.
I have been taking golf lessons from Dave Garcia for past 2 years. He is a great instructor with passion for the sport. His teaching is easy to comprehend and he has different types of tools to help you improve where you are weak. He is not only a great teacher but a genuine, kind, and sincere person whom I have gained as a friend for life.
I just had my first golf lesson with Ron. I like his approach to analyzing my swing and showing me ways to improve and giving me specific things to work on. I plan to continue with the lessons on a weekly basis. I expect, with Ronâs help, to see my scores go down by several strokes!
I've been playing golf for about 6 years and i've had a couple teachers along the way. Paul has to be one of my favorites. He really knows his stuff and is really in tune with current golf instruction. He can pretty much eye ball the flaws you have and tweak you the right way in a matter of minutes. He also uses video using the V1 app to give you a good visual of what your flaws may be. I personally like Pauls teaching because we are always on the same page and he's super easy to work with. I was having problems with hooking and over drawing the ball and right off the bat he said lets try this ( one piece take-away, keep club head outside the hands, hinge) and voila! a beautiful high tight fade. This was in the first 10 minutes! To top it all off you can't beat his prices. I ended up getting a 6 lesson package to work on all aspects of my game. 3 lessons in and iv'e seen a big improvement in my game. Thanks Paul
Gavin is an excellent instructor. Lots of fun and a great facility. Would recommend him and the Henry Brunton Academy to anyone! I will be going back soon!
I have been going to Jay on and off for golf lessons over the last couple of years. When I first started I literally could not hit the ball in the air. I learned enough to where in a couple of lessons I could not only hit solid golf shots, but I could also pick out what went wrong on the ones I didn't hit as well. Jay is a phenomenal instructor and incredibly patient with every level of golfer. His greatest asset, even greater than his personal knowledge and understanding of the swing, is his ability to convey that knowledge to a student. I could not have been more pleased by my results over the last couple of years.
Mr. Austin has been a very important milestone in my knowledge of the game. After only 3 lessons, I saw a 60% improvement in my abilities and an 80% improvement in my score. He has proven his years of expertise and the ability to impart that knowledge almost effortlessly. Very highly recommended.
Robert is great. He has been responsive from the beginning and continues to have great communication. I've currently had two lessons and have learned a lot. His approach to teaching and sense of humor makes the lessons enjoyable. Looking forward to our continued sessions.
Natalie is super friendly and patient, no matter your skill level. With only a couple lessons my confidence in my game has really risen!
Have taken golf lessons here at Arroyo Seco from Joe Cano for a couple of years. The place is easy going and feels very personal and private even though it is a public course. Joe is terrific. He is deeply knowledgeable and has an entertaining style in which he uses analogies to make his point about one's swing - this helps a lot in retaining specifics in such a technical sport. Joe incorporates technology by recording your swing using cool mobile apps on his iPad that really let you see the mechanics of what you're doing and the progress you're making. I love this place and there are other instructors who also appear to be doing a great job, but Joe is awesome!
Question: Do you want to have fun on the golf course without feeling mentally exhausted? I can help you build a repeatable and reliable golf swing that will improve your overall game.
So, I am going out on a whim and try this. I did not provide my beautiful picture for you all to enjoy, but so you know who to look for if you decide to call me. If you call, leave a voice mail as I do work full-time. My name is Kyle E., and I am a 23-year-old male. I have loved golf from the very moment my dad taught me at age 10. I was on varsity way back when for four years as a starter and at my peak, I held a 1+ handicap (pretty proud of that) for over a year. I helped my teammates develop their games (even beyond what I was capable of performing) by giving them the skills I learned and researched (every sport is a science). I also have given individual lessons to friends who are learning the game. I currently have three individuals who are improving their games who I work with on a daily basis (if you would like to ask about the work I do). I was self taught for a majority of my learned skills but also had individual lessons. I made it to CIF for three years with two of those years making it to the 3rd round (super proud of that). I have competed in a variety of amateur tournaments, including Candlewood Country Club, Hacienda CC, Yorba Linda CC, Black Gold CC, etc. The reason I am writing this and offering lessons, whether that be individual or group is because at 23, I am expanding my personal investments and want to utilize my skills outside of my office and participants and provide people wanting to pick up the game for the first time, who are experienced golfers, who want to improve their focus, etc. a person to contact. What I am offering is as simple. I would love to meet at a nearby golf range to Chapman university (Super Sport by the Orange Mall, Riverview Santa Ana Golf Course, Willowick Golf Course). The first lesson will be free (but donations will be welcomed). All you have to do is bring your clubs, pay for the bucket of balls, and be ready to learn for a half hour. If you're happy with what you walked away with, we can meet again and discuss a half hourly rate for following dates (which is my goal). If you are a business major (because the stereotype is almost all business starts on a golf course), if all of your friends play golf, if the sport always has intrigued you, or if you want to develop your game into something more competitive, give me a call. Who knows? What you will learn about golf, mindfulness, or if you just need someone to listen to you in the form of a life coaching role. I have extensive work with kids as well, all ages 4-18 as well as adults. Just give me a call and please leave a voice mail with your name, number and a good time to call back. Many cheers, Kyle Edquist

I have been an accomplished golfer of over 25 years. I play and practice regularly and have a real passion for teaching golf. I am not a certified teacher but having taken numerous lessons and being around the game have given me great insight.
I am a Part-time golf coach. I've been playing golf for over 20 years. I have helped quite a few PGA instructors with coaching their students and have overcome lots of game changers myself. I can coach you whatever it takes to help you lower your score or gain distance and accuracy on the range or on the course.
I am a professional expert golfer and have over 40 years of experience. It is a sport I take seriously and I know all the rules, regulations and in-and-outs of the sport. I have played in all the courses up and down the state of California, and several outside the state. I learned from my dad, who played professionally all over the world. He was my mentor, who taught me at the age of six, and on my first time out, I out-golfed all of his buddies on the course that day. I'm described as being a natural.
