Spanish is a beautiful language and widely used in Southern California. I would say it is the second most spoken language in United States. It is used at work, school and in our community. Hola! My name is Yris, and I am a native speaker of Spanish (my first language). I am from Lima, Peru (South America). I have experience in teaching kids and adults of all ages. My program includes basic, intermediate, advanced and college-level Spanish. I completed my master's degree in Spanish and linguistic at Lima University in Lima, Peru and also in Los Angeles Harbor College (California, USA), and I also completed Academy At Home tutor certification. My Experience: I am a very funny, energetic, responsible and outgoing person. I have been teaching for 15 years and tutoring for individuals and groups. I have tutored English in my country and Spanish in the states. I am dedicated to help my students improve and success. I use a variety of level-appropriate tutoring to engage the students and make learning fun! My Goal: I want to achieve with my students to succeed in Spanish understanding, listening, reading, writing and talking. Spanish is my strongest subject with really good results!
