Introduction: The trombone is the most versatile of all musical instruments. It can sing like a violin, project the authority of an orchestra, and romp with abandon in the world of the jazz saxophone. It is pitched right in the middle of the male voice, yet it's range is unlimited. It is as easy to learn as riding a bicycle, yet the most difficult instrument to play well. No two trombone players sound the same, and your expertise on the instrument is limited only by your willingness to practice. I have been playing the trombone for forty years and will be happy to teach you the art and the craft of mastering this uniquely powerful and expressive instrument.
