Kim was everything we could have asked for and more. My fiancé and I weren't quite sure what we were looking for, we just knew we wanted to gain some useful tools to carry us through the rest of our engagement and into our marriage. What we found was Kim--an intelligent, kind, down-to-earth professional who made us feel so comfortable right away. I was a little nervous about my fiancé and how he'd react to a vulnerable situation such as pre-marital counseling...but Kim talked us through every step of the way and every question or concern either of us had was responded to...it was perfect for us. We left feeling refreshed, prepared and honestly, even more in love. Thank you Kim, we are so grateful to have found you!
An unexpected death in the family upended a number of things in my life. I needed some guidance to get back on track to run my business and tackle the new personal challenges I was facing. I was working with another counselor for a few months but did not find much value in my sessions. My wife found Karim so I decided to try one session. Needless to say, I really enjoyed Karim's approach. Karim has acted like a guide to help me identify, process and work on my challenges. I enjoyed his help so much that I also paid to attend a couple of the workshops he hosts outside of regular hours from time to time. I highly recommend talking to Karim at least once and see how you feel. Chances are, you will want to work with him.
Sasha is a smart, intuitive, compassionate and practical coach and she has supported my emotional and creative growth in many ways. We have discussed a wide range of topics including relationships, work-life balance, creativity, nonviolent communication, ambivalence about raising a child, and being authentic. I learned new skills and tools through our sessions, which have been more effective than my previous experiences with talk therapy and life coaching. I have grown significantly through working with Sasha and I continue to see tangible changes. I highly recommend working one-on-one with her.
Sabrina is very professional. It was easy to contact her and make an appointment. I appreciated how quickly I was able to get in and see her. She is very knowledgeable about patterns of behavior. The environment is comfortable and talking with her never feels forced.
Raphael did our wedding for us, he helped us plan it out, he came fully dressed for a our celtic wedding. He made our wedding one to remember, he even said a traditional celtic saying done at weddings and it was just perfect. I recommend him to any one that would like a great wedding.
When Anna Cedar, my colleague of two years, told me that she was starting a private practice I got incredibly excited that others will get to experience the funny, thoughtful and warm person that she is. Yes, it goes without saying that she has years of experience as a therapist and that she has knowledge and a deep grasp of both "talk therapy" and evidence based interventions. I got incredibly excited because even more than her knowledge about interventions that help people when coping with stress, concerns about identity, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma (or any combination of the above)--Anna has the intangible skills that help individuals feel really LISTENED to. I feel that therapy is often about goodness of fit--that is--feeling comfortable and safe with your clinician. Anna makes ME feel safe. She has a delft touch with people and she's not afraid to ask hard questions or sit with pain and sadness.
Beth knew the right questions to ask to address my heart’s desire – a better connection with my husband. I felt like she really listened to and understood me as she helped me gain clarity on what was contributing to our disconnect – unresolved hurts. She helped me to get in touch with my experience, and through that I discovered I wasn’t being fully vulnerable with my husband and sharing what was important to me. My next steps seemed so simple once we role-played how to say what I was really feeling. She showed me how our lack of intimacy was affecting other areas of my life as well. She also shared testimonials that highlighted client successes from other couples that were experiencing what we were. This renewed my hope and inspired me because some of the solutions seemed so simple. The relationship to my husband is very important to me, and so is my inner peace and joy. I am grateful to Beth for showing me how I can have it all.
He is very communicative and understanding about scheduling. Goes above and beyond, and is flexible.
I had an English tutoring session with Dr. Rita. The first two-hours session could be tiring, but she led the session pretty well and tutored me with passion! I will have a few more tutoring sessions with her to improve my language skills.
He was genuine and didn't rush us. He used the paperwork that we submitted when we arrived to lead the conversation. My husband and I are working toward a better relationship yet it was good to talk with Paul as a mediator, and he helped start the conversation that we can continue as a couple. If needed, we'd hire Paul again without hestitation.

I worked with Dr. Uhlin in a managed care setting for several years and had the opportunity to witness his skills as a clinician firsthand. Dr. Uhlin is compassionate, bright, and cares a great deal about his clients. He is a deep thinker who translates his expertise and wisdom into practical and effective interventions. I highly recommend Dr. Uhlin for anyone seeking psychotherapy. Gregory Devore, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist
Kavita is my therapist, and I am so lucky that I found her because my life is transforming in ways I never could have imagined. I found her through a series of unexpected events. Long story short, I ran into an old friend, joined him for dinner with another friend of his, and his friend recommended Kavita based on something I said in passing. I'm so glad. I hate to think about where I would be now if I hadn't found her. I've seen therapists before, but it wasn't the same. I think that's because Kavita does way more than "talk therapy," and I feel like that's magically changing my brain. She also made a referral to a great couples therapist for my partner and I. All in all, life is looking so much better than it ever has before. If you're looking for a really intelligent, compassionate, and creative therapist who will help you change your life, reach out to Kavita.

What is Biomagnetic Therapy? It is a treatment with small magnets placed over clothing that seems to help to eliminate microorganism that causes diseases and severe pain with no side effects. The work is done through the kinesiology (muscle-test) tool that in this case may also be known as bioenergetic approach. It is said that Glandular dysfunction and alteration may be corrected with biomagnetism. What is the Biomagnetic Pair? In 1988, Dr. Isaac Goiz discovered the Biomagnetic Pair. It is based in a therapeutic system through the implementation of pair of magnets of particular strength at specific places on the body, which have the capacity to eliminate, viruses, bacteria, fungi or parasites that are the cause of most serious ailments. The therapeutic goal is to achieve a balance Bioenergetic and Ph of the body. I use EMDR, hypnosis, talk therapy, mindfulness, etc. I was trained as an engineer, which has led me to be very curious about what works in therapy. I'm down-to-earth and practical.
I have worked with individuals dealing with stress, anxiety, self-harm, self-esteem, depression, loss, trauma, bullying and relationship problems. My approach is to provide empathy, offer support and guidance to strengthen your skills and abilities. I use different elements from different styles of psychotherapy and tailor my treatment according to each person's needs.
I use a unique combination of techniques, skills and approaches which are evidenced based, that is, shown to be effective in a clinical setting. I have learned these practices over the course of twenty-one years. I have a lot of practice and experience. The practices I use are based on Interpersonal and dynamic psychotherapuetic techniques, Hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotioanl Freedom Teachnique), Transformational NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) which is a therapuetic application method of NLP I learned from a program developed in part by a psychotherapist and NLP practitioner. I am also a Family Constellation Practitioner which is a very unique modality that allows me to adress issues of past generational entanglments that may be blocking you. These "entanglements" are literally ways in which, on a very deep, other than conscious level we have taken on problems and burdens on behalf of a parent, grandparent or other ancestor(s). Most recently, over the past five years I have applied my skills working in a clinical setting for a nonprofit organization within the Behavioral Health Services network of providers of San Francisco Ca. I have over 6000 hours of supervised clinical practice working with people with extreme life challenges (Chronic chemical dependance, mental health and physical health challenges). The techniques and practices I use proved very helpful to the people I worked with.
