- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have a standard price $30.00 a half hour. $25 if two children are taking the one-hour lesson!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have an interview with a new customer to discover what goals and interests he or she has. If a parent wants his or her child to study piano, I ask the child if he or she wants to learn and is willing to practice ten minutes a day. I require the parent to learn with the child just like doing homework after school.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a B.A. in music from Mills College and an M.A. in piano pedagogy from Holy Names University and studied early childhood education and worked in preschools to be familiar with how young children learn.
