Very mixed feelings about our experience with Marcos. We would rate him 1 or 2 stars for the ceremony but 4 or 5 stars for the reception/party. Ceremony: he played the wrong songs for my wife walking down the isle as well as the bridesmaids and groomsmen walking down. This is because we shared with him the document for the songs for each part of the ceremony a couple weeks ahead. We then talked to him the week before and said we wanted to change some of the songs. He confirmed and said that's totally fine. We then sent him the updated document and he replied saying he got it. However, for the ceremony, he still played all the songs we chose weeks ago without the changes. You can see how frustrating his can be. Luckily, they weren't the worst songs possible (they were songs we at one point really liked for the ceremony). What should have happened was us walking through all the songs for each part with him, probably in person. Reception: we gave him a playlist of songs we wanted to be played during the dinner. He played all the songs we sent him. This was perfect. After that, for the partying part, he did a great job of choosing and playing songs we all liked. I did have to remind him to start with just Spanish songs and then more hip hop later. After that, he did a great job of keeping the crowd partying. He took requests and even played a couple songs I requested two days before the wedding. Overall, Marcos was really nice and really accessible. I would just recommend confirming things with him a couple times and walking though the plan before the wedding step by step, which we didn't.

Dear Dan, I am terribly sorry about the misunderstanding regarding the ceremony music. I take a huge amount of pride in what I do and try my best to avoid all errors during my performances at the events I do but unfortunately I am human and do make mistakes at times even though I try my best to avoid them. For future events, I will be sure to contact my client via phone or meet in person to go over any changes or adjustments to the wedding plan at least a week prior to the wedding date. No, we do not have a standard pricing system since every event that we do is different and unique.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our typical process working with a customer typically begins with meeting our customers in person to discuss what they are looking for in a Dj. We sit down and listen carefully to what our customer is looking for in a Dj. We then explain to them the years of Wedding Dj experience that we have and how we can help them plan the Wedding of their dreams. Once the customer decides to book with us we provide a contract for them to sign and require a deposit to lock in the date for their event.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We strive to stay competitive in the DJ industry. Our DJs consistently have hands on training on all areas where DJ Services are typically requested.
