Introduction: My work is more interactive because I play music with my students. I try to do music they want to do and that keeps them interested. Last, I teach to my students strengths and try to sharpen their weaker skills.
What I love best about my job is watching a student finally get a tune to sound like music. They are alive with joy in their accomplishment and I love knowing I helped them to do it.

"I want to play guitar." Chad helps you see just what that means to you. What level do you aspire to? Do you want to emphasize chords or finger picking or vice versa? What do you hope to do with the guitar?
He is the guitar player we are all familiar with: laid back, easy going, so relaxing, soothing - making it look so easy. But he also lets you in on some of his challenges as a teacher and performer - which takes away some of the student's anxiety about being able to learn the guitar.
And with his personal attention he conveys that conviction that you. too, can and will play the guitar. But you do have to bring in a level of dedication and commitment to deep, serious, daily practice.
I'm semi-retired and so I've able to practice 3 hours a day. I'm just now hearing an improvement in my playing and the fingers are moving with more certainty and confidence. I'm on my way to achieving a level of playing that's of my own making & determination - that is very exciting.
