Piano Lessons by Wenny
Introduction: I provide one-on-one classical piano lessons at your home, from beginner to advanced levels, ages five and up. I have a Master degree in Accompanying from Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester, New York. I have taught in Indonesia and Singapore, and more recently in Southern California since 2013. I'm an active member of MTAC (Music Teachers' Association of California).
I give systematic guidance to master note-reading, proper piano technique, and stylistic interpretation. I strive to instill a lifelong interest in music and customize materials to student's natural pace of learning and interest.
My students are active performing in piano recitals, MTAC festivals, and competitions such as SYMF (Southwestern Youth Music Festival). Under my meticulous guidance, many students have successfully passed CM (Certificate of Merit) Evaluation (100% passing rate), 13 of them completed Level 10. For the last 8 years, 65 invitations were awarded to my students who achieved exceptional CM results to showcase their performances in the MTAC Annual Convention.

We have been working with Wenny for just over 6 weeks and we have seen drastic improvement with our 9 year old daughter. Wenny is great and I recommend her to anyone looking for piano lessons.

Wenny is an outstanding piano teacher. I can't believe how much I've learned in the past 2 weeks. I am an older adult who has decided to give lessons one more try and it's working. Wenny is patient and gives clear instructions. I am really motivated to practice regularly and I know that I'll succeed in achieving my goal of being able to read music and play fairly well.

Wenny has worked with me now with 3 lessons. I'm a new, mature adult learner and Wenny has proved to be quite patient. She encourages and provides excellent feedback to whatever I'm doing that needs improvement. For her considerable expertise she readily pushes me to do a better job. Wenny has been great in motivating me to play piano again and enjoy it. She's got me onto Chopin, Mendelssohn which for me has been a different direction. She is very attentive, hears everything and gives you great feedback on your interpretation and where you need to improve. She won't let you move on until you've got it right! I feel very lucky to have connected with Wendy.
She is now also teaching my grandkids, they have made great progress in both playing and reading music. Wenny is great with kids!!
I will recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great teacher of classical music

Ms. Chandra is a very good teacher for my 15-year-old daughter, my 14-year-old daughter, and 12-year-old son. Very few people impressed me because I paid a lot of attention to details about quality. If your son and/or daughter practice(s) regularly and are willing to study classical piano, then she can definitely deliver!
