- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For weddings, I ask for a 10% reservation fee upon booking to secure your date, and for all other sessions, the reservation fee is $100. For weddings, the remaining balance is due one week before the wedding, and for all other sessions, the balance is due the day-of. A travel fee will be applied to any session outside a 20-mile radius of my home on Bainbridge Island. (A ferry fee will also be applied if I’m asked to travel off the island, thanks for your understanding!)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Chat via email, phone or text, discuss photo shoot, arrange meeting time, location, and payment. After our session is complete, I will edit your photos and then send you the full resolution digital copies for easy download. I use Pixieset, a website that showcases your images in a beautiful gallery. You can download, save favorites, and share the gallery with family and friends. Wedding and elopement photos will be available within 8 weeks of the event date. All other photos will be available within 4 weeks of the session date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've loved photography since high school and have been taking photos nearly every day since then. I'm a travel blogger in my free time and love sharing my travel photos. You can find me by searching Little Tranquility on Google - I rarely leave the house without my camera! :)
