My project was a custom 4x29 custom Plexiglas courtyard fence. I had hoped that this project would have been handled more professionally and actually completed by Rowmack Inc. I selected Rowmack Inc based on the high reviews by previous customers. When I contacted the owner Bob about building a custom fence he quoted an initial price. I knew that this was a very low bid, but agreed to meet and because I wanted him to understand what I wanted before he provided a price. After reviewing my requirements we agreed on a price. Bob stated that he would require 50% of the price on the start date and I would have to provide the materials for the project which he would pick up from Home Depot. I took Bob's handwritten list of items and proceeded to order online so they would be ready for pick up on the start date. I sent Bob a list of the items in my online cart to verify that it was what he wanted. The day before the build, Bob requested I not purchase the items online and meet him to at Home Depot to purchase the items. I agreed. I apparently misunderstood because I thought that when I would meet Bob he would have all the materials ready and I would simply have to pay. Instead, I had to take two hours of my work time to wait for him to pull all the materials for the project. The project hit several issues that I had not expected, and as of this writing a two day project has become almost a month. The most problematic issue is that Bob did not call the utilities to determine where lines were prior to digging holes for the fence posts which resulted in a broken gas main in my front yard. I had to leave my house, with dogs in tow, and alert my nearest neighbors that PG&E may need us to evacuate the area. It took over an hour after the firetrucks and PG&E vehicles arrived before I could safely return to my house. Additionally, while digging the holes for the fence posts, Bob and his team managed to cut through the primary irrigation line for my sprinklers. At that time I told him that the only irrigation line I was concerned about was the one leading to my shrubbery along my driveway and along my property line. An attempt was made to correct but only resulted in three of my shrubs being stepped on repeatedly that they have to be replaced. As of this writing I am not able to turn on my sprinklers because a geyser at the line break floods my front yard. The wood work Bob and his team do good wood work and they do work hard. However in their rush to complete the project they failed to realize that metallic tools rubbing against Plexiglas will cause damage. When the 5th Plexiglas panel was inserted I showed Bob that there were multiple scratch marks on each of the panels ranging from 2 inches to over 7 inches. Bob tried to tell me that the issue was that the Plexiglas panels were scratched from the manufacturer. I had personally had picked up the panels from the manufacturer and watched as the loaded each one in to my vehicle. Each had a protective adhesive paper to prevent any scratching. As I removed the protective adhesive paper from a fresh panel there were no scratches. I then proceeded to inspect each fresh panel prior to installation. There were no scratches on any of the remaining panels. However after installation each panel had tool marks, I am assuming they were primarily from pressing the nail gun against the Plexiglas in various places. The scratches are very visible in the afternoon as the sunlight is shining through the backside. With the temperature starting to reach over 100 degrees and knowing he had no immediate projects slated I asked Bob if he would like to take a couple of days to recoup. I had hoped to clean the panels and assess the damage as Bob stated that he would replace each of the damaged panels. Bob requested that I pay him the balance owed because he was pressed for money. I wrote him check with the understanding that he would return to complete the project. That was three weeks ago. As of this writing, and after many attempts to get Bob to commit to return my project remains incomplete. As a result: I have had to: - hire another vendor to complete the project $250 - hire another vendor to repair my sprinkler system $200 - purchase replacement panels $1500 - replace shrubs $50 For small projects I assume Rowmack Inc would be able to handle, but being that there are screws missing from the deadbolt that was installed, I am somewhat apprehensive.

Hi Doreen, I am really sorry that you feel this. I was unaware of your feelings because when we had talked over e-mail, you had stated how happy and satisfied you were with your fence. I tried to reach out to you after reading this review so that we could get things fixed with the fence and yard but haven't heard from you. I would like to get in contact with you so that we can resolve this. Our company works on making each customer happy and likes to bring complete satisfaction to your project.
