- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically connect over the internet or by phone. A top priority in such early contact is to determine if we are "a good fit". Environmental Builders, Inc. is well known for their quality craftsmanship and value that is realized over time. In short, our work lasts for decades... If a client is interested in price, price, price, we are talking to the wrong prospect. We offer FREE onsite consultations to learn more about the proposed project. And from there, we talk budget and bring in more team members as required be it: CAD Drafting; Title 24 Energy Analysis; Structural Engineering; Specialty Sub-contractors and the like. It is a long process and one of team building toward a win-win contract, never an adversarial relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a UC Berkeley graduate, I am a total information magnate. I happen to be a very curious person and totally invested in my profession. In short, I want to know all the latest tools, technologies, theories, and best practices of the industry. Monthly, I receive about a dozen trade manuals that help me keep current on my construction industry education. About three months ago, I went to school and become E.P.A. -RRP Lead Paint Certified in addition to my Haz/Mat certification I hold. Continuing education is a joy for me...
