We have a small business, and needed help with hiring, employee termination, quickbooks, and all the laws that require alot of details. She is available to answer questions with a rapid turn around, and gives attention to details on a proactive basis. We would not be able to run our business without her company! I can't think of anything I need to make this service better, but if she thinks there is anything, I believe she will be proactive in supplying that service before I need it. We HIGHLY recommend her!

Marily Benson was the bookkeeper while I was executive director of a nonprofit in Sacramento. She was steady, reliable, honest, and friendly. She communicated well and let me know when I needed to pay attention to something I'd missed. I trusted her and feel that my trust was honored by her as an ethical imperative and justified by her exemplary behavior as our employee. If there is something she could have done better it has been lost in the intervening years, so it must not have been important. What I remember is how she double checked the time sheets of our employees and created a reliable system of preparing our data for the outside consultant who wrote up our 990s to the IRS. It is so important for an Executive Director to feel the nonprofit's bookkeeper truly has one's back, and that's how I felt about Marily Benson.

I offer full-charge bookkeeping by the hour or job. I taken accounting through intermediate-- the first five classes plus H&R Block Tax course and have posted the ADP Payroll reports to both manual, modular and to the QuickBooks general ledger. Also, raining and tutoring in Microsoft Office for Work, Excel, Outlook and Access. I've been offering accounting and computer services since 1966. First on the B of As mainframe and then starting in 1977 on the personal computer. My Rate is $60 an hour for posting the ADP reports and $40 for contract bookkeeping. Rate for part-time permanent in the Central East Bay is negotiable. I'm only interested in working in the Central East Bay and only in San Francisco if parking is available, or near a BART station.
