Manny is incredible. came in gave me a bid for permitted plans. A lot more competitive than the others. estimated a 4 weeks turnaround time. I have since then referred him to multiple of my friends and neighbors for any maintenance and service work. i live in the San Fernando Valley. and wanted an in home office. came in and converted our garage. My parents living in Calabasas, they are retiring soon and moving into a condo in the near future. We have a 2 garage parking unit that is detached. We were thinking about building an ADU before we sell the house, at this point Neo Builders helped us get plans approved by the city of __ we are still in the first sets of design. We spoke to an architect, structural engineer, and a mechanical engineer and decided to build a 800 sqf two story unit. Very excited to get this project started!Apr 13, 2020
We are planning on building a 750 sqf unit in our back yard. Design is the most important thing to our family. Because it’s a small space we wanted to make it feel homie but functional. Manny helped with construction but Joseph and Camille work on designing and Furnishing. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We have three steps for pricing. First we plan your design, our designer and architect will help with the first sets. once approved by the city we can bid out the construction. if you need help with furnishing and property management. We can only give building prices after you are approved by the city and have RTI plans.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Step 1- Determining what the size of the project can legally be. Step 2- Meeting with architect and designer here the client will have time to discuss what is most important in the space. Step 3- Plan submittal to the city. We submit you pay for permits. Step 4-Building your ADU. Step 5- Finial inspections Step 6- Renting or living in your new unit.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?We started with big multi million dollar, new construction homes. Its important we focus on small homes, they are the back bone to the housing crisis, Los Angeles and CA is facing.
