I do what all good writers have to do to stay current: I read, and I write. :)

I've done everything from resumes and website rewrites to fundraising speeches to a book on the history of a college. I've proofread, collaborated on original projects and helped design winning strategies for marketing, brochures and more.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A humorous column I wrote last week on fatherhood brought a neighbor of mine to the door so she could hug me; the outline for a book I'm writing on the history of a local college inspired them to pay me more than the original contract called for. Both of those are great moments. :)
