I tried to workout with my friends. However, I realized they weren’t serious. I was serious so I had to step it up and I decided to find a personal trainer. I found active private training and worked with john. At first I wasn’t sure I could keep up with his workouts, but he balanced the workout to the point where it was finished just as I thought I couldn’t go on. He really knows how to give me just the amount of hard work without making me collapse. By the third week I felt my endurance climb and I found I could do more. That’s when John pushed me for more. I see a real change and I know I am going to reach my goals. I made the right choice with John.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

When needed I combine a high intensity weight training with a light weight #5 or #10 lbs. super set of one exercise to inhance cardio then I make sure your given the proper rest before the sets. I also use a full body cardio by its self instead of using my treadmill. This inhances muscle strength when its time to include a weight training with cardio.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First make sure they are certified. Next try them for at least 2 or 3 weeks (6 to 9 workouts). See how you feel, did they do a 1RM? (1 Rep. Max) Did they assess your HR (Heart Rate zone)? Are they giving you just the right rest, not too much or too little? All charge differently but charging more does not mean your getting more. I admit most of my clients that come to me sign up for 2 days a week. What’s hot is that with in a week or the beginning of the following week they add a 3rd, 4th or 5th day to the week. However, I don't allow my clients to sign up for more days if their training does not call for it.
