Introduction: :: Teaching Philosophy ::
I believe that we have the ability to dramatically change our lives through yoga. The first step in this process is understanding and accepting who we are today, and embracing that person with compassion and lovingkindness.
In our practice, we welcome the awareness of what is, and mindfully make small adjustments to change our posture, regulate our breathing, and quiet the mind. With dedication, this ability to respond to environmental changes manifests itself outside the yoga studio, and we empower ourselves to make decisions that lead to a more content life.
:: Why I Teach ::
I am greatful that yoga is such an effective tool to help manage stress, depression, anxiety, and any other challenge created by our demanding schedules. I am happiest when Im able to share the benefits of my practice with others, and see the positive effect yoga has on their lives.
