Karen is awesome! She spent a lot of time with me, my dog, and my family who all live together understanding what was really going on with my aggressive dog. She gave great tips and recommendations for little things that help establish a clear pack order so that my dog is happy and more relaxed. I have definitely seen an improvement in my dog immediately. I just need to get better about my own consistency with the method and be committed to being a pack leader which is hard sometimes but my dog needs it. She's really great, tons of insight and methods that seem small but make a huge difference in dog language.
Bob trained both of my Brittanys from puppyhood. He did an amazing job, and my strong exuberant dogs are both extremely well-mannered and manageable. Bob is thoughtful, kind, and patient, and gives each individual dog the time needed to learn. He tailors the training to suit each dog's specific needs and personality. Most of all, my dogs enjoyed their lessons and were always happy to see Bob. That speaks volumes for his methods. He always makes the training sessions enjoyable for both dog and owner. I am proud to be able to tell everyone that my dogs are Weatherwax trained, and I would not even consider working with anyone else. He will definitely be training all future dogs for me.
Pit Stop Dog Walking and Care is a top notch pet service. I couldn't be more pleased with them. They treat my dog with love and respect. I'm so happy I found them.
Shane has been taking good care of my dogs for a few weeks. One of my dogs is very old and requires special care. I really appreciate all that Shane is doing to take care of my dog babies.
Alison house and dog sits for us. We all love her and I feel very comfortable having her stay at our home. She provides excellent care to our dogs and wants them to enjoy being with her. She is responsible, so kind and loves animals.
We were fortunate enough to connect with Susan (our "fairy dogmother") shortly after getting our puppy, and we've been working with her for the past five months. What a difference she has made in our lives, and in the way that we interact with our puppy! Susan's approach is gentle and loving, rather than stern and forceful. She teaches primarily through positive reinforcement, and it's amazing to see our puppy respond. In just a few short months, our German Shepherd has become well-adapted and obeys simple commands. Susan engenders respect and trust from our puppy, and he is astoundingly eager to obey her; she has done a wonderful job of training us as well! Most importantly, her training teaches patience, persistence, and positive interaction with your pet. There are no "pinch" collars involved in Susan's training, no loud berating or punishment of your puppy. Instead, she trains the puppy with encouragement and reward (for our dog Max, that means treats and back scratches). Something that I strongly believe helped our pet to trust Susan and want to please her was "puppy camp," during which our puppy stayed with Susan for several days while we were out of town. While we were initially reluctant to leave our brand new puppy, when we returned, our puppy already had the foundations of strong training, and our subsequent training has been much easier because of that. I highly recommend Susan's training for your puppy or dog, and to the extent possible, I advise that all family members participate in getting trained so everyone in the family is on the same page. You will bless the day that you found your "fairy dogmother!"
Marcia is great! She is very organized and really thorough. She spent a lot of individual time with us and really cared about how well our dog was doing.
Cheryl stayed with our Golden Retriever, Lucy, a few times. The second time was for 6 days. Lucy was completely happy when we returned home. Cheryl sends me pictures of Lucy while I'm away and reports to me what they've been doing. Cheryl has no problems giving Lucy the various medications that she's required to take. My house was in the same order as I left it. You could never tell anyone was there. I would definitely recommend Cheryl to take care of your pet. Lucy means a lot to my husband, my 2 kids and me. We felt completely comfortable leaving Lucy with Cheryl.
Due to an injury I am unable to walk my dog. After speaking with Ali on the phone, I knew found the right person. Her love for dogs is obvious, and my dog loves her too. Ali reinforces the training I have already done with my dog and challenges her with new experiences on their walk. I would highly recommend Ali for any pet care needs, and will continue to use her in the future even when I'm better. Linda P. on April 29, 2015
T'was my lucky day indeed the day I found Lois Hampton. We arranged a meet and greet meeting and I, as well as my little dog, GraciBel, were immediately comfortable with Lois and her husband George, GraciBel had been abused and was leery of any other human being, especially men. GB was immediately comfortable with both Lois and George. Lois does indeed go above and beyond the call in many ways, One of the wonderful things she always does is to keep you updated of what is going on with your pet while in her care. She is kind, and loving, and so caring. During your pet's visit, she takes the time to send emails to let you know how your pet is adjusting and, in addition, sends photographs. On our second visit, she sent me a photograph of GraciBel, sitting atop the sofa, wrapped around George's neck. I immediately knew this is a kind and gentle man as GraciBel would not get near a man at this stage of our rescue. From that time, when I pulled up to their home to drop her off for a visit, she would wag her tail, jump out of the car, and run up to the door. What a wonderful feeling! Lois and her husband, George, are wonderful people. The quality of their caring for your pet is beyond description. I am totally and completely at ease and comfortable when little GraciBel is in their care. I can think of nothing that would improve our experinece with these lovely people. In addition they are so accommodating. If a schedule changes, there is never a problem. They accommodate you in every way. In summary, my limited vocabulary does ot allow me to adequately describe these two wonderful people - Lois and George Hamptom - and what they have added to GraciBel's life and the caring and love and help they have given to her and to me in GB's transition from an abused little dog to a lovable little girl.. And for that I shall always be grateful. They are the best of the best! T'was indeed my lucky day when I met them and to now have them in our lives.
Face it, your pet is your child. And, knowing that your baby is being taken care of and cherished is peace of mind. Pam has been a part of my dogs life just short of 10 years. Your baby is her baby when you're at work or on holiday. You'll see your baby run into Pam's embrace. And, you'll return home to a happy, content, nourished (nutritionally and spiritually) and exercised pet. Pam's knowledge of animal care is Veterinarian Degree worthy. Yes, you can stop researching now. Call Pam.

Thanks for your consideration!

I have had the unique opportunity to work with dogs both one-on-one and in a pack/group setting professionally at two different doggie day care & boarding facilities. This has given me the opportunity to work hands on with dogs of various different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. This has also provided me the insight to really see what the client expects when leaving his or her beloved pet in the care of another individual.
