I took my first yoga class taught by Rebecca almost 2 years ago and have been religiously attending ever since. Rebecca is one of the most naturally gifted teachers that I've ever met in any profession. She has the uncanny ability to provide individualized instructions catered to the specific needs of each student while maintaining a focused goal and constructing a nurturing and playful environment for the group as a whole. Incorporating the mastery of her own physical practice with spiritual, philosophical, and physiological knowledge she's helped my grow physically and mentally beyond what I thought I was capable off. So don't think twice....highly recommended!
Amy is one of the few yoga teachers I would go to, let alone recommend to people. Her practice is a wonderful blend of mindfulness and physical activity. She's always open to requests and tailoring the class to meet those participating. I can't recommend her highly enough. You can't go wrong.
I have been working with Kelly a couple of months for posture & flexibility. I am in my late 40s & am quite inexperienced when it comes to yoga. Kelly is an excellent instructor. She has helped me so much in a short amount of time. She always has a great routine thought out with a lot of variety each week. I would highly recommend her.
Rene is the best! She's confident in her work and really pays attention to how pilates can work for you. She's very caring, very sweet, and responsive to your needs and questions! I have a background in dance, acrobatics, and yoga, and after having taken pilates only twice I have gained much more body awareness with her privates! Definitely worth it.
Omg, this girl just taught me some acrobatic moves and advanced yoga moves. omg, omg, omg. I have always wanted to be more acrobatic and I started working out with her about 2 months ago. I usually go to the gym where she trains at and its so nice inside and when she is showing her workout, other people usually star at us because her stuff is so bad ass and so so cool. As a guy, its good to be able to impress his girl, I am working on my handstand secretly with this badass trainer. My girl friend even notices and says, "are you working out? you look so much shredded". I am not my old ME anymore!!
Lisa is very professional and has been a great trainer. She is always modifying the workouts to fit my needs and prevent any exercises from becoming boring. She also is constantly looking up more exercises to meet what I want to be working on. She seamlessly transitioned my workouts from in the pool to indoor Pilates and yoga when it got too cold, and is helping me improve my flexibility slowly but surely.
We had a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette party in Malibu! I am so happy we selected Stacey to instruct yoga on the beach!! She was incredibly quick to reply, professional and prompt! We were mostly beginners and wanted to have a casual yoga session! She was very detailed in the movements/practice but at the same time tailored the class to her audience and kept it very lighthearted. Loved her jokes ;) At the end, she provided the bachelorette with a card congratulating her on the upcoming wedding! What a thoughtful touch! Too bad she didn't live in Texas otherwise I'd def be using her more! Thank you again Stacey for such a wonderful morning!
I met Florence when I researched the web for private yoga lessons. Large group settings were not working for me, so I wanted something more personal. It was the 2nd best decision I've made in 2015. Florence is extremely professional, dedicated, expert in her area and strives to help make a positive impact in your life. She customizes every yoga and life coaching lesson to address my specific health needs and in the few months I've been working with her, I've achieved so much. I've lost weight (she provides wonderful recipes) and my balance has improved both physically and mentally. Every week I get excited to see her as I know, I'll learn something new that will have a long-lasting impact in my life. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Florence to anyone who is serious about making a positive change in their life through yoga/meditation and life coaching. SHE IS WORK EVERY PENNY.
I needed a personal trainer to come to my home and help me get back on a work-out routine. Going to school on the evenings and being a stay at home mom made it difficult to dedicate time to work-out. Pamela came to my home 2x a week for 8 weeks and motivated me to push myself for 30-min sessions. That commitment jump-started my new exercise routine which I have incorporated into my busy lifestyle. She has a firm, yet sweet approach to motivate you which is a great combination to have especially when you want to give up on the last rep! She also provides weight-training equipment such as yoga mat, weights and medicine ball. At the end of the 8 weeks, I reduced my BMI!
I used Thumbtack in order to find someone to conduct a private yoga session in Santa Barbara for a small bachelorette party and was promptly connected with Leah. She was responsive and kind and quickly responded to any and all questions I had up front. She showed up on time and allowed us to wait for a few women who were running late. She then walked us to the most beautiful, mostly private, ocean-view location and conducted a great yoga session. As with any bachelorette, a few of us were not feeling well after a night out so Leah catered to how we were feeling by taking us through some restorative and detoxifying yoga moves. She also made sure the bachelorette was comfortable, with our intention focused on her and her upcoming nuptials, throughout the session. Overall, it was the highlight of the entire weekend for all of us. We are still talking about just how great it was. We hope we can attend one of her other public classes or set another private session up sometime down the road. Thank you, Leah!
Approximately one year ago I walked into Bikram Yoga Agoura Hills having no idea what yoga was all about except that a friend told me it can really help me mentally and physically. I met Rachel that day and my life has changed dramatically. Rachel took the time to explain to me what Bikram Yoga was all about and prepared me for my first class. At that time of my first classes, I was experiencing a tremendous amount of depression, anxiety, and physical problems. Rachel and her studio provided me a place to heal. She took me under her wing and coached me through some very difficult times. What impresses me the most about Rachel is her commitment to all her students, her teachers, and her studio. I have seen Rachel have long talks with students whom are struggling and I can see how much faith and respect students have for her as an owner and individual. Rachel does an excellent job of being “One of us” not an owner and teacher, who is above anyone. Rachel’s commitment to her own practice is something that helps drive her students to work hard and often. I have also seen Rachel stay very involved with her teachers to make sure the studio keeps a consistent practice. I have been to other Yoga studios and must say this studio is the cleanest and I know it is because of her commitment to cleaning the studio multiple times a day. Rachel’s friendly attitude and personal strength has created a studio like no other. Students are always interacting with each other before and after class and that is because Rachel and her teachers are one of a kind and they never present themselves above the students. On a personal level, Rachel talked to me about my daughter’s anxiety and her wishes to practice yoga, however my daughter was too nervous to attend a class. Rachel offered to come to my home and teach my daughter until she was able to come to the studio. Anyone who is looking for a comfortable and safe place to practice all types of yoga, belong to a community of high energy caring students of all types, would benefit from taking a class with Rachel and would immediately see what I am talking about. Megan is an amazing yoga teacher. She showed me yoga can be for everyone of all skill levels. Her overall approach is non-aggressive yet very educational about the human body. Personally, it's also an eye opening experience to practice yoga outside of a regular studio. Overall it's huge stress reliever and complete physical and metal makeover every time I practice yoga with Megan.
Madeline was an excellent instructor! She was attentive, patient, and encouraging as she led a group of beginners at different ability levels. I would strongly recommend Madeline!
