- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking for new ideas and new ways of approaching the design of an event. I attend creative workshops and wedding industry shows and conferences whenever I'm not working, and am always in search of more information and staying up to date on the latest trends.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved putting on a party - from design to final execution, I am a host at heart. When I started planning weddings as favors to my friends, family and cor-workers over 15 years ago, I realized how much fun it was and decided that I wanted to do this everyday. Not only to I get to live my everyday in the atmosphere of fun and enjoyment, I get to meet so many awesome people with so many creative ideas and visions that I am charged with making into reality.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My business is about 75% day-of coordination and 25% full design and planning. i like this mix as it gives me the time to really focus on those full planning and design jobs and really invest in my clients' happiness.
