Better Health Acupuncture

Introduction: "Pain is inevitable; misery is optional. You don't have to live with it!" This is my basic philosophy. Authentic Chinese medicine is scientifically based and can be very effective when other treatments have failed. I was formerly on the medical staff at two hospitals, and was the only acupuncturist in California and the nation to be hired into the Rural Health Care System. I am a pain medicine specialist in the Workers' Comp System and a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME). I also have advanced clinical training in orthopedics and traumatology at the Chinese Academy of TCM, Institute of Orthopedics & Traumatology in Beijing, China in 1997. I have been involved in competitive sports since age 6, and this commitment to my health gives me a unique understanding on "Better Health".
