Paul is amazing!!!! He is so patient and supportive as an instructor. So pleased with my decision to hire Paul. He has a great relationship with my 6 year old and I am confident in his ability to teach her how to play the guitar. Paul is so awesome that I decided to take guitar lessons as well! Looking forward to making music with my daughter!!! Thank you Paul!!!
Omar was a great teacher who made each lesson challenging but fun at the same time. I learned a lot from him in a short time about finger picking and chord progressions, and he introduced me to a lot of perfect songs to learn on guitar that I wouldn't have known otherwise.
I have been a student with Kimberly for ten years. I have been taking blues guitar lessons from her weekly. Kim is extremely professional. She tailors her teaching to the students interest and playing style. She is very patient and often goes the extra mile to help students progress. I have been a dedicated student because of this. I have had the pleasure of playing guitar with some of her other students in ensemble classes who all give her praise for the way she conducts business and teaches her classes. I highly recommend Kimberly Allison of Starliner music to anyone wishing to develop their skills in music.
Kevin is the best guitar teacher out there who gave me the tools I needed to go on to be a Music Major. He works with your goals as a starting or experienced musician and explains and helps with everything so well. He goes out of his way and really made guitar lessons a highlight of my day. HIGHLY recommended!
At the age of 9 my son Julian started to take group guitar lessons from Pat. After that session I ask Pat if he does private lessons, he said yes but its at La Puente. So from Chino Hills I took my son to La Puente every Saturday for the next 5 years. He is very good with kids and I highly recommend him. My son now 18 enjoys writing songs & performing.
Matthew is very knowledgeable an knows how to bring the information down to my level, very basic, step by step, which is exactly what I needed. He also challenges me to go beyond what I think I am capable of and I surprise myself. I am excited about my progress and can't wait to see what the year holds. I would highly recommend Matthew for beginning to advanced guitar. Thank You, Matthew
Juan is awesome and really seems to love the art of teaching. He can explain a technique and then play examples on his guitar. Just my first lesson but I really am looking forward to the next one !!!
I have been with Bella Music Studios for five years now, and cannot begin to describe what a wonderful experience I've had with everyone there. I've been with various studios and teachers and theater troupes before, and none of them have felt more like a legitimate family than Bella Music Studios. The owner, Jo Ann Maddalena, is the kindest person you could ever hope to meet. She wrote me a beautiful reference letter when I applied (and got into) a performing arts school in Hollywood. I've had two different vocal teachers there (April Orchard and Jean Carlos Lopez) and both of them were patient and talented and made me a better performer than I ever was before. I've had such a wonderful experience at Bella that Jo Ann recently decided I was ready to try teaching voice there myself! I'm still new to it, but I've had one client there, and it's been so rewarding. I practically lived at Bella Music Studios for three summers, and it's like a second home by now. I was in three shows with their theater troupe, and they were all professional level performances that I had so much fun doing. Bella Music Studios is a fantastic place, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, well-priced music lessons of any kind for any age. Whether you're looking for voice, piano, guitar, trumpet, etc. you're getting the best of the best here.
I took guitar lessons from Tim for about a year, and Tim was my favorite guitar teacher. He is a very passionate teacher with a love for music. While I was learning with him he encouraged me to learn music theory and introduced me to many other genres of music to learn and play. While teaching he was very helpful and patient with any problems I had. I would recommend Tim to anyone wanting to learn how to play.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Brian for a couple of years and I am very pleased. I am in my late 50s and took lessons from several instructors and learned mostly power chords and memorized some riffs. With Brian I have progressed to a thorough understanding of the pentatonic and major scales allowing me to solo and improvise. Brian is very knowledgeable and adaptable to my learning style. He has incorporated other reference materials I have in addition to recommending references he is familiar with.
I offer guitar lessons from a pro musician of 38 years. I am a former guitarist for Freddy Fender. Lessons are given at my church, P.O.P. Lutheran in Covina which is a very comfortable place! I charge $30.00 for 1/2 hour.
I teach you how to teach yourself. You will learn to hear songs the way pros do and figure them out for yourself.
I do not teach traditional guitar lessons, I teach all genres. I do not teach note reading, I use tabs. I do not have anyone learn a style of music they do not particularly care for. Music is an expression of yourself, you tell me what you want to learn!
I have been playing for 51 years. I guarantee I can teach you how to play the guitar. I will teach you how to make chords and play songs from the first day.
Between YouTube, my own line of audio lessons and private lessons, I've helped millions of aspiring singers, pianists, guitarists and songwriters achieve their goals in music. I love what I do!
I have been following my guitar passion for 7 years now. I know what it feels like to be lost and confused when starting at first. However, I assure you that I can help you get comfortable with the guitar and turn your frustration into satisfaction.
I am a self-taught guitarist, but I have taken courses in music theory and ear training during college. I have been playing the guitar since I was 13 years old. My goal is to help a student learn scales, chords, and rhythm. I do not teach how to read music. I teach students how to understand the theory behind music and how to take a creative approach towards it. My lessons are for people who want to learn the guitar for recreational purposes.
I am an LA based guitar/songwriting instructor. My career began in college when I was teaching private students how to improve their abilities in many styles of music such as classical, rock, Latin, jazz, etc. Since then, I've been dedicated to improving people's abilities and to the enjoyment of music.
I give my full attention to each individual student, monitor their progress, and wholeheartedly want them to understand music and enjoy it in their lives. I give detailed instruction in playing the guitar and musical skills in general. I can teach others to play in various styles ranging from jazz to classical, folk and blues. I cater to individuals and if you want to become a musician rooted in the disciplines of music reading, theory, and ear training, I can make that happen for you. If you only want to physically be able to play the songs you enjoy, that is not a problem. Ultimately, students will not succeed very much unless they enjoy what they are doing. I am constantly trying to understand the students and teach them in a way that works best for them.
I am finishing my master's degree in music composition and multimedia. I have been playing sax, clarinet, flute, and keyboards and singing professionally for 25 years up and down the West Coast. Recently, I moved to Big Bear and wish to build my music career here.
I am a left-handed guitar instructor. This is very important to a person learning the guitar for one simple reason -- you see exactly how you are supposed to play a guitar chord or the positioning of your fingers. I've had students who have gotten lessons from guys who are far more advanced than I am, but when they are taught by a left-handed person, they have all said this one thing: "I see exactly what I'm supposed to play." Ideally, this makes learning much easier and faster. Most of all, if you don't learn, I don't get paid; it's that simple.
