Good communication. Our aggressive stray dog we took in had no hope, until we found Kym...1st day he was sitting on command, walking on the lead with the proper equipment. She appeared very knowledgeable and was caring & proved to be a success on the first time in our training for our new dog Balto. I highly recommend her.
Our Golden Retriever puppy was very hard to control. He was constantly chewing on everything including our hands and feet. We needed help so we hired Happy Dog Training. Ralf has been working with our dog Teddy for 6 weeks and he is now well behaved and totally manageable. Ralf is a very knowledgable in the area of canine behavior and his knowledge has resulted in excellent results I highly recommend Ralf and his staff.
I am currently working on service dog training with Denise. She is AMAZING!! My SD I'm training is also the first dog I've ever owned. That being said, Denise is really patient with me as I learn how to be a good dog owner as well as train my dog. She is very go with the flow with the training, as far as if I have anything come up in between classes, we address the problem and work through it right away. I'm so happy she's a part of our lives! Best most professional service I've recieved.
Julie has worked with my Pug and I for several weeks. My Pug was very aggressive towards humans and was starting to interfere with my daily routine from having people over to redirecting his aggression towards me. I contacted Julie and in this short time i have seen major improvements with my dog. She has taught me so many things that are really mistakes that i had no idea i was unconsciously making. I am very excited to keep working with her and keep seeing the results i am seeing now. Her interactions with my dog speaks about the experience and knowledge she has about dog training, i truly recommend her.
Shireen showed up on time and with in a few minutes I knew that after using several trainers she was the right person for my problem, I have a well trained dog but needed special help to make him perfect. Thank you very much Shireen!!! Nico is doing better already. (-:
I had to leave my 10 week old puppy for a pre-planned out of country trip for a 10 day board and train with Michael. When we returned, we were happy to see that our puppy was doing well and she came home with no issues. The Pros: Michael spends a lot of time with you to answer questions during the face to face consultation, which is nice. It was also great to see Michael's dog, Travis, and how amazingly well trained he is. Secondly, the price is very affordable when compared to other places for a board and train. Note: I cant really vouch for the training piece because our puppy is so young that she probably absorbed very little in the short period of time she was with him. She is a bit better on leash than before though and I am sure Michael and his dog Travis had a hand in that. The Cons: Michael wasn't very good with communication with me throughout the board and train. I would have really appreciated regular daily updates with pictures on how our little puppy was doing, but I received one update after several requests and so I just gave up. Our puppy also had diarrhea upon returning home and I cant say for sure whether she was being fed the food that I provided or not. I could have been more demanding and call and badger him but that's not really the type of person I am. Ultimately, for me, it would have been nice to receive unsolicited updates and information regarding my puppies stay with Michael. Overall I think Michael's services definitely has value. I would recommend him for anyone that is on a budget and has a dog that needs basic training in manners and socialization with other dogs. I would recommend him only for those owners that are very hands off and do not require a lot of feedback.
Amanda has helped our family with our Boxer, Sugar, since she was a little under a year old (she's now little over 3 yrs. old) As many know Boxers are very excited, jumpy, bouncing dogs, with a very high energy level! Amanda had taught Sugar not to jump on us and others... That was the biggest issue for us with Sugar! Before Amanda, Sugar was already trying to be stuck in her ways of jumping and being the young pup... it took a short period of time. Amanda encouraged us not to give up, and keep working with her.... As well as Amanda working with her..... Success...for 2 years No more jumping! 😃 (well of course on that occasion when my husband plays with her and calls her up) Amanda has also helped Sugar to be very patient while we are preparing her meals for feeding. She used to try to push herself through before we even put down her bowl. That took no time at all for Sugar to sit, at times lay down, while we are getting meals ready. We put her food down and she sits beautifully and waits for us to tell her "good girl" and give her the ok to eat! Amanda has taught us a ton of stuff! Helped us with the walking on leash.... Know it's sounds silly.... But Sugar gave us (me especially) a run for our money by pulling us.... Rather... walking us instead of walking her. We trust Amanda as is if she were Family....She treats our pup as if she were her own! Amanda is MORE than Reliable and Professional, she is so loving and caring and goes way ABOVE AND BEYOND Amanda is always there when we need her! Amanda now comes to our home for walking and feeding with TLC.....(which we benefit more than anything) that is how much we trust her with our precious Sugar and our home! Our schedules are so crazy and Amanda helps calm the storms!! 😊 We are very lucky Amanda has came into our families lives. We can not thank Amanda enough for all that she has taught us and for all that she has taught Sugar....and still teaching every day! One final thing to add... Amanda Mckitterick ...Wise Dog Training. We have hit the Jackpot when we met you! Thank you very much!!
Kevin is a professional trainer: I was fortunate to have him answer my request for a puppy trainer: at the time two puppies...after one training session I realized that I had one puppy too many and found my aggressive puppy a kingdom of his own! giggle Kevin showed up on time each Saturday (6 lessons) and arrived prepared with a training agenda that he held to: My puppy is 4 months old, male and German Shepherd so it is extremely important because of the size dog he will become for him to have good training and manners! Kevin taught him: to sit/stay, to walk calmly on lead (not pulling on the leash), to go up and down a car loading ramp. I am (extremely grateful for this training because it is a relief to have it done in preparation for the future). Kevin and I walked 'Bear' down the street to socialize him with the neighbor dogs...he learned to walk by them without challenging them to a 'fence-run-bark'! We are still working on this. I was a bit apprehensive when beginning training and Kevin told me "when you are nervous it travels all the way down the leash in to the dog and the dog knows"... We graduated Basic obedience training last Saturday 12-17-16 and received a Merit Certificate for both of us and Bear received a Rawhide bone too. Kudos to Kevin for such good training and patience with both of us! I highly recommend him for your training needs...
My Dutch Shepherd had issues with pulling on walks and unwanted jumping on people. Now walks on leash without pulling and basic obedience is sold after working with Brigitte. Overall good foundation moving forward.
Klya came to us at a crucial time in our lives. Our 2 older dogs had passed away and we had a younger dog that we hadn't put the time and training into while we were still grieving. Kyla is "service with a smile" and her knowledge never ceases to amaze me. She took the time to show and explain to us that is just as much retraining us as it was working with Finn. You get so much more than a trainer with Kyla. Her love for canines abounds so your pup is in great hands when Kyla's around. We can't even to begin to thank you Kyla for your giving heart, your patience and you continued support with our beloved Finn.
very professional. Takes care of the dogs needs. Keeps communication with daily activities with photos and text and videos of your pet while you are away. Awesome awesome awesome
Aisha came by to evaluate my dog and says he is fine as is. I liked her honesty and the way she interacted with the dogs. Id I ever need a trainer I know who to call.
We hired Dixie for our 4 year old shepherd for her anxiety issues. We had a very bad experience with another "dog trainer" so we were apprehensive about any dog trainers. Dixie was referred to us & we are so glad we called! She is wonderful! Patient, calm & a wealth of information! In 2 weeks with her help & advice we are seeing improvements with our dog! I highly recommend Dixie.
Services are the following: - Dog walking per hour is around ten dollars per dog. (It so depends if the client has multiple dogs, because I usually give a good deal.) I also lower my rate near half for the first week of service to ensure my service meets your standards; if they do, then it goes to the normal rate previously listed. - Additional services: Range from $5-$10. Services include basic command training, dog area clean-up (potty waste, cleaning toys/bowls/bedding, basic baths/grooming, playtime, visits to dog beach/park, and dog sitting offered at your location). Please feel free to ask questions, and I'm open to additional service requests, and we'll try my best to excel your expectations.
I always give it my 100%! Especially when it comes to working with Dogs.
My services include all issues of dog behavior and training, training the client to understand their pet, follow ups though email and phone, and working with both the dog and client for a better understanding. I have been training for 35 years. Working with the owner and trainer allows me to teach the skills to keep moving forward. I work with all kinds of behavioral issues. Are you willing to work with me ?
I walk dogs, bathe them, and train them. I love to give all the animals the attention that they need.
I believe that a well-trained dog doesn't just listen - he listens all the time! Reliability is overlooked in dog training. It's great if your dog can sit or lay down or do tricks at home, but how will he perform when you're at a friend's house or out in public? At NLDT your dog will eventually be trained under distraction to make sure he listens every time!
I work on dogs on how to do things for you. I'll give you a clue using your voice, including a very high and loud tone and pitch, tone and word that you mean it. That is what owner's should do according to Jeremy Throckmorton. He works with Victoria Stilwell.
Are you having trouble communicating with your pet? We offer group classes for puppies and adult. We also offer the following services: * Private Classes * Behavior Issues * Dog Sitting * Dog Walking
I provide dog training. I train all kinds of K9 for obedience and protection and tracking. I have 40 years in the field.
