Introduction: I'm in the grading and paving business. I will do landscaping, grading, concrete work, lot clearing, demolition work, dirt work, building pads and parking lots. I've been in the grading and paving business for 34 years, using heavy and small equipment. I've put 15 years in the operating engineers heavy equipment union (local #3) and also have 14 years in the labor union (local #270) and own case 570 grading. My customers like that I'm upfront and don't inflate prices. If I can save my customers money, I will, and I will let them know how they can do it. All I want is to get paid for my labor and materials by the customer, and that is one way I save them money.
