My Husband and I had purchased a little over an acre of land in Fallbrook and hired WEST Construction to do the excavation work for our new home site. Despite the fact that our land was extremely rocky and had poor soil conditions, West was able to complete the project early! I was in the process of finalizing paperwork and looking for a contractor to install turf for our side and back yard when I was told that WEST also did turf. I was pleasantly surprised and immediately hired them for the job. We had a little over 2,300 SF of lawn turf installed and they had it completed in 3 days!!! I cant give enough thanks to the guys in the field for all their hard work and professionalism. I would definitely hire WEST again. Thanks guys for your hard work!

We hired West Construction so that we could finally enjoy the backyard we never had. Are back yard was nothing short of a disaster and West Construction transformed the area so we can now truly enjoy an escape/addition to our outside living space and finally enjoy what California has to offer, it's weather! David worked with us 100 percent of the way, onsite everyday, giving us options that worked well within our range of budget and providing the level of detail and knowledge that made us feel comfortable with our choice. The target timelines were met, everything was picked up at the end of each day that showed professionalism and solidified that we made the right choice going with West Construction. We will absolutely be calling David back for future projects. The West Construction team did an amazing job in all aspects, retaining wall, artificial grass, grading, etc. Thanks again guys! My wife and family could not be happier!

In order to finish a decorative landscaping project, we hired Dave to install artificial grass in our back yard. He was very knowledgeable about the installation process and building proper drainage. The grass looks exceptional and just days after installation was complete, there was a heavy rain storm, and there was perfect drainage. We plan to hire Dave again for a similar project on the other side of our house.

I hired West Construction for a small retaining wall project and for some additional work on our property. I had no clue what to expect, what to pay, or where to start. Dave was outstanding!! I had so many questions and so many changes along the way. What started as some excavation for a retaining wall turned into 1400 sf of artificial grass, terraced slope in the back yard, and they even fixed my clogged area drains! Dave and West went far above and beyond, I would recommend them to anyone needing work done.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We use the latest equipment to increase the production when we do a job. That is to say that if there is a right tool for the job, we have it! As for actual continuing education, we stay current on all laws and regulations as are required by the state and federal government.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We are a 4th generation heavy civil (excavation) company. Over the years we have expanded from Excavation and Grading to include paving and synthetic surfaces for track and field as well as private design-build projects.
