Introduction: As a North County based service I provide both photography and full video production services. My shoots are always conducted with a small footprint and as inconspicuous as possible. I have a track record of arriving early and staying late to provide full coverage. Both photography and video projects are always completed promptly with typical turnaround from the time of shooting is one week or less.
I especially enjoy capturing images from events and and group gatherings as well as individuals with head shots and portraits. Samples of my work can be viewed on my websites, jtravisphoto.com for head shots & portraits and jtravis.net for all other photos and videos. My primary camera for photography is the full-frame Nikon using professional grade lens for superior image quality and my primary equipment for capturing video is the Panasonic GH5 & GH4 along with the fully stablized DJI Osmo. All video is captured in 4K resolution for superior image quality.

Had the location ready to go before I arrived, was neat and orderly, very hospitable. Jim was down to earth, and handled the shoot professionally. He gave me several opportunities for different types of photos as well as poses. He provided me an excellent experience and I could not be more happy!

50th Anniversary--Jim was very professional yet easy to work with. He went above and beyond what was expected of him. He arrived early, and he surprised us with not only excellent photos but a video as well. We plan on using him again next summer for a family portrait.

I was lucky to have picked Jim to do the photography work that I needed. He was very professional and really took his time to get things just right. Frankly, I was a little uncomfortable paying him our agreed upon fee. It seemed like I should have been charged more for the service that he provided. I would highly, highly recommend Jim.

We hired Jim the day before the memorial service we wanted recorded. He was quick to respond, easy to communicate with, and very reasonably priced. He did a wonderful job on the video and delivered the completed DVDs and a link to the video within a week.
