FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Pre-Production 1. It all starts with an initial kick-off call to get to know the client and their goals for the photo session. 2. From there I pull together an accurate quote with a few pricing options. This is delivered to the client and I answer any questions they may have about the options. 3. Once an option is selected, and a deposit has been secured I go into the planning/logistics phase where I will map out the shot list, location, camera/lighting requirements, props, hair and make-up, wardrobe, etc that will be needed for the job. If it's a larger commercial project I will also provide a run of show schedule to ensure we work most efficiently while on set. I will run through all this with the client to get sign off before shoot day. Production Day 4. Day starts with a review of the pre-pro book with all the details about the shoot so everyone is on the same page about how the day will progress. During the shoot I will work with the client in real time to show them the shots as we go so they are comfortable with the work being produced. Post Production 5. Once the shoot is complete I will create a private online gallery and send a link to the client so we can work together to pull the top selects from the raw photos. Then I will provide any agreed upon retouching or color correction services. The photos will then be electronically delivered to the client via a private online gallery and a link to download the entire lot if desired. I can also provide printing services upon request.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15 years of experience as a Creative Director and photographer. Throughout these years on the job I have studied under some of the most creative minds in the marketing and advertising industry. Understanding that the photography field is constantly evolving I dedicate time to learning new methods and techniques to ensure that I provide best-in-class service for my clients.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Initially I started shooting photos as a hobby in high school, this evolved throughout my design career into a more necessary component of my work with clients. The more I shot, the more I wanted to shoot. This takes me to today where my entire career and focus revolves around photography.
