Laura is an awesome teacher. My daughter just started learning the violin for the first time couple of months ago and she has already come a long way and performed a short recital. Laura is very comfortable with kids; she gets down to their level and teaches them; the kids learn quickly and have a blast. She is very interactive and makes the whole learning experience fun. She takes time to interact with parents and is flexible as can be with timings for classes. She is very professional and really good at teaching. She has a very good ear for music. I got to know her as my daughters classmate (one of Laura’s students) did a violin performance for the class and was truly amazed hearing a 2nd grader. I also recently heard some of her students perform in the recital and was awe-struck. I would gladly recommend Laura to anyone interested in taking violin classes.

I‘m a adult in learning violin and i want to say Laura is so professional at Violin teaching and performing ,she is very very patience ,Her teaching method basic on inspiring me to get exactly what it is ,but not try to "teach" me how to do it ,she also teach me some music theory step by step ,about the skills of violin playing ,she usually do the demonstration and make me feel not hard to get at all .And she is a very nice person ,I enjoy the class with her very much .

Laura is great with my 5 year old who just started playing the violin and reading music. She makes it fun while still making him work and she adjusts her lessons according to his interests and strengths/weaknesses. Highly recommended.

Laura is a really incredible teacher. She teaches students of all ages with great sensitivity, quickly assessing a student's strengths and weaknesses and helping them to achieve their particular goals. Her criticism is always constructive and she challenges students to progress beyond what they think they can do.

Laura is just wonderful! She works extremely well with my daughter and is flexible in terms of scheduling which is essential for me and my 4 year old. I'm amazed at how much my daughter has learned in only 2 lessons! I highly recommend Laura. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and a great teacher!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It's important for me to know each student's goal. I will do my best to help each person achieve their individual goal.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have completed Suzuki Book 1 training. I have been teaching for several years, and teaching itself is what makes me learn the most about it!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My mother is a music teacher too so I've always admired what she does and thought it would be great to follow in her foot steps.
