Introduction: Weddings are "Fun" with Pastor Kel!!!!! I do not offer a "one size fits" all package. I believe all wedding services are special and unique enjoying working with the couple to create a ceremony specially designed for the couple. I believe that I am not doing a job, but rather performing an important service. I love what I do and find great joy in meeting the wedding couple and sharing in the festivities of planning the ceremony. I am a social person and enjoy meeting and interacting with the couple's family and friends.

Kel performed a beautiful ceremony for us on short notice and was able to still make it very personal. She was very open to being flexible and making the wedding as we wanted it. Our wedding only had about 30 guests, and she was able to work with that and make the experience feel just as formal as a larger wedding. That being said, she did a great job making sure the ceremony did not seem stiff. We decided to use a unity candle on a windy day, and she was able to make a joke that still fit warmly and reflected well on the symbolism of the candle ceremony. She could tell how nervous my husband and I were and did a good job of making us smile and relax. She performed the ceremony with love and I very much appreciated that on such a nerve-wracking, emotional day. Overall, she performed a beautiful ceremony which we and our guests loved. I'm very thankful that she was able to join our lives. She was definitely the perfect choice.

My husband and I chose Pastor Kel Henderson to preside over our wedding in March 2001. Her professionalism, caring manner, humor and heart felt passion all went into guiding us during the planning of our wedding along with during and after our wedding ceremony took place. She was open to our ideas, incorporating everything we asked of her into our special day. It was also a pleasure to see her fun side as we invited her to our reception, dancing with our guests and us on the dance floor. We can't praise Kel enough for being such a wonderful officiant. She's easy going, professional and everything I would want in an officiant. The ceremony wasn't rigid or overly orderly, it was calm, relaxed and from the heart. That's a big reason as to why we wanted Kel to marry us. She's fully present in the moment and thus was able to perform smoothly through the hiccups of the ceremony. I'm a wedding professional myself so I get to see the quality out there, Kel is really a natural at this.

Pastor Kel Henderson performed my/our wedding on March 10th, 2001. Weddings can be full of anxiety but Pastor Kel made it a very pleasant time by easing our stresses or worries as our day approached. The whole event was quite relaxed and thorough with her guidance. I would highly recommend her for your wedding/ministry needs!

I am required to complete 5 hours of continuing education annually so that I may stay in good standings with my denomination. I regularly attend workshops, seminars and study groups on various topics... spiritual, religious, holistic healing, book and work studies.

I commonly preside over weddings and memorials, I also lead worship services, seminars, and workshops on multiple topics.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I feel that it is important to find a wedding officiate who is personable, comfortable in busy social settings and able to adopt to any possible awkward or difficult situations that may arise.
