Layne was a wonderful part of our beautiful day. Not only did he perform the ceremony with love and character, he agreed to participate in a musical surprise I arranged for my husband. I can't image having had anyone else officiate our union.

Layne performed our wedding ceremony on July 12 at our home in Los Angeles. The ceremony was joyous and filled with meaningful words that included advice for us as new partners in life. We were very comfortable with Layne from the first day we met him to set the date. He reminded us to focus on each other and enjoy our wedding because it would be over before we knew it and not let what other people wanted to take us away from it. It was really needed advice that made us feel that he really cared about the work he does in joining couples in marriage. Layne arrived on time and took care of all the paperwork before the ceremony, however, we started late and he waited very patiently although it was a very hot day and the ceremony was taking place outdoors. Our family and friends commented on the beautiful ceremony that he performed for us and we were all very happy with his services. We recommend his services to anyone. Thanks again! Pastor Layne Beamer was more than what my fiancé (now husband!) and I could've asked for. He right away listened to and understood what we wanted in our wedding. Initially, we had concerns about being able to find someone who could be open minded enough to appease the different religions we had amongst our friends and families. But we met with Pastor Beamer right away and he dispelled all worries. He's especially great at answering all your emails quickly and listening to your input. We were extremely pleased with his presence and the wisdom he brought to our wedding. Pastor Beamer's words were beautifully respectful and emphasized the support of our union. Our guests remember his words even to this day!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually speak over the phone at first, and I answer any questions I can. (We get a "feel" for one another.) Then, if the couple wishes, we meet at l;east once to discuss the actual ceremony.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received a Master of Divinity degree from Claremont School of Theology. I am required to attend 5 hours of CEU classes each year to maintain my Good Standing within my denomination.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was called to ministry in high school, but chose to pursue acting instead. After a fair amount of success but grueling work I entered seminary at the encouragement of my church family.
