Currently purchase a new home and had to get my backyard done, My girlfriend and I was fortune enough to find Gary De Yager to work on our backyard. I am currently overseas while all the work is being done, I drew the layout of how i want the backyard to look and that is exactly what Gary made my backyard look. Other than my girlfriend helping me out with the planing, Gary made this very easy for me and i felt really comfortable. Having Gary and his team in Solid Rock Landscaping Construction is by far the best guys to have when yo need any work done on your yard. Gary truly saved the day! We just moved into a new home about a month ago and what should have been an amazing experience was destroyed by a fly-by-night landscaper that took off with tons of our money and left us with an incomplete project and a mess on our hands. Gary was driving through our neighborhood and began talking with my husband, who just happened to be outside, as he shared our tale of woe. Gary immediately jumped into action, thoroughly reviewing the status of our project and providing us a prompt and fair proposal to finish our backyard installation. He was extremely patient and understanding with me, since I was overly cautious in light of our recently experience and asked a million questions. He was always on time, was right on target with his completion timeline and provided me regular updates throughout the entire course of the project. With my work schedule I was never home during the day but I quickly realized I didnt have to worry about his work ethic or workmanshiphe was on it! During the course of the one week project, he uncovered sub-par work left by the previous contractor and provided thorough explanations on the corrective action needed to be able to enjoy our yard for years to come. I cant say enough about how Gary made what was a horrendous experience into one that I can finally smile about as I look upon my gorgeous oasis of a backyard. Our project included a complete removal and replacement of a faulty irrigation system, installation/completion of our brick and gravel walkway, installation of a complete drainage system, laid bark in the side yard, installation of turf and a putting green. (sorry of I missed anything) It is absolutely breathtaking when he was finished!!!! I am beyond excited to show off our yard at our upcoming get-together. We will soon be starting to plan a complete renovation of our front yard that was minimally planted by the developer and Gary will be my go-to person for that project as well.

Gary helped us design our backyard landscaping. The project took about 4 weeks. He and his crew were very professional at all times. The quality of his work was great and we will call him again. He did go above & beyond in building our flower bed with seating for the fire pit.

I got my back yard done, slab, retaining wall ,rocks and drains and I must say I was very pleased and impressed by his work. he is a gentleman and just an all around cool guy very down to earth .work was excellentand finished very quickly.have recommended him and would recommend him to anyone .pricing was good,and just all around two and thumbs up.

We called Gary because we had just moved into the neighborhood and he left a flyer on our gate. We wanted a desert landscape as our yard was dead and didn't want the big water bill that sod requires. He had done a neighbors lawn and it looked nice but had our own ideas too. He gave us a very detailed estimate and promised that it wouldn't cost any more. He drew up a plan and didn't have any problem with making the changes we wanted. He completed the job in a reasonable amount of time and also started the job soon after we agreed to his proposal. We are very happy with the results. Gary is a very friendly and personable guy who we enjoyed working with.

I pretty much do, but all jobs vary with the initial demo work and condition of soil.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After receiving their phone call I set up a time for a meeting to go over their idea's and add some of my own. Then I go back to office and work on preparing an itemized bid and then email the bid to them and tell them to please call me with any questions or concerns.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've possessed a c-27 landscape license since 1998. And have been working in the landscape industry since then. So with Solid Rock Landscape company comes 18 years of experience with idea's and exceptional work ethics.
