Cara and Frank are the absolute perfect pet sitters. They are an amazing combination of professionalism and passion. Our dogs adore them, and, I think, truly miss seeing them every day. (There is even a stray kitty who now comes looking for Frank; animal whisperer? a definite possibility) Cara's daily (sometimes hourly) text responses were immediate, patient and comforting and included pictures! I could tell from the smiles on our dogs faces that they were happy and healthy. Look no further, these are the pet sitters of your dreams.
Peggy did a cat sit while we were out of town. She made sure to clarify all instructions ahead of time, made good notes while we were here, and provided good followup. We would recommend Peggy!
Jackie gave dog training lessons to our 4 year old boxer which we just got from the Boxer Rescue Assoc. We were totally impressed with everything she did. Her training was excellent and even after a few sessions we saw a significant difference in our dog. Would highly recommend Jackie, she even helped get our cat and dog to be happy together in the same room, something we thought would never happen!
Stephen Perry is a godsend. I was seeking someone to care for my high maintence, food obcessed lab. I contacted numerous kennels, all seemed to provide the same answers, super high cost, impersonal care, and so many rules and restrictions. I did not want Abbi to be stuck in a small kennel for periods of time while they allowed her out for "play time". I envisioned a place where she could run free and be part of a dog pack. This was not for daily care but rather for long vacations and trips we would take three or four times a year. I wanted her to be happy while we were away, a home away from home. I started asking around to friends if they knew of someone. I didn't think a person existed that could provide what I wanted. It seemed too good to be true. When I started to lose hope I got a call back about a guy named Stephen and he was described to be as a "dog whisperer". I laughed and thought, uh huh. Sure. Sure he is. Having nothing left to lose but my dogs well being I decided to call him an have a chat. I was instantly comfortable with him. He agreed to try Abbi out and assured me she would be fine. We gave it a shot and I have never looked back. There is no one else I would leave my dog with. Stephen truly loves dogs and loves what he does. Abbi was instantly taken to him and "the pack". I have dropped her with him in random spots over the years (many times at his home) and she was able to join right in on leash with 12 or more other dogs. The first time I witnessed it I could not believe my eyes. All the dogs following in line on leash. It was amazing. Abbi does not walk well on leash yet with Stephen, she fit right in and happily walked off, tail wagging. He has kept her for me numerous times over the years, sometimes for a week or more at a time. He makes drop offs and picks up a breeze and will accomondate ever changing schedules and locations. He communicates well to make it happen for you. Also, while you are away he will send updates and allow you to check in on your dog via text. He will even send a pic here and there until you are comfortable. I don't worry when I am away. His home is great for dogs to all room together and he even allows them to cuddle up inside with him on his own furniture, even his own bed. He loves and respects the dogs in his care and they love and respect him right back. They all smile and wag their tails when they are there. Abbi always comes home happy and healthy with a shiny brushed coat. You can simply tell she was loved on and had a great time. He makes sure to walk them each day and not just around the block, he makes long treks with them in beautiful dog havens like Spring Lake. Stephens pricing is more than fair and reasonable. I cannot say enough about him. If you want a great dog walker, sitter, trainer, consultant, or stand in pack, Stephen Perry is the only person for the job. You will not be disappointed with his care of your beloved dog(s). He's also an amazing person. Truly a gem. Abbi loves to go to "dog camp" And anytime I am away, its the only place she will be. Thank you always Stephen. You are the best! Randi and Ab Fab Lab
We highly recommend Paw Pals. We recently moved to this area and finding a new pet sitter was a priority. During our initial meeting, Helen met our cat and listened to our routine regarding the care of our pet. She took the necessary time to discuss any questions we had and bond a little with our cat. We were very impressed with her professional and friendly manner. The first time we traveled out of town, Helen emailed me several times and even sent a few pictures and that greatly relieved any stress I had. We felt confident that all was well at home and I could relax and enjoy the vacation! We have used Paw Pals several times and are so pleased with the quality service Helen provides!
Great dog sitting service!
She was great and I am sure that the cats and goldfish were feeling secured and loved by her.
Deb did an excellent job of first meeting with me, discussing my needs, and making sure she had all the details of what I needed not just for pet care, but also house and watering needs while I was away. She kept me informed of how things were going with Sparky, my cat, and did a really superb job of taking care of him and my house for the week I was away. I absolutely recommend her!
Adam was amazing with our dog Ella, both when he house sat for us and when he walks her from time to time. When Adam comes to the door Ella immediately is over the moon excited and knows exactly where to go and sit after she is done saying hello.... yes you got it, next to his car so she can go for a ride and a hike. Adam also surprised me when I got home by having the sheets from the bed he slept in while he was house sitting all washed, folded and sitting on the end of the bed. What a delight not to need to clean up after a house sitter. I give Adam "4 Paws Up"

I have been a veterinary technician for over twenty years. I also studied dog training under Ian Dunbar of Sirius Puppy Training. If it involves animals, I have done it! I have been pet sitting for various clients of the veterinary hospitals and clinics I have worked for over the years for as long as I have been a technician. I understand how important it is to not have to worry about your pet and home while you are away and am here to do whatever I can to make it, so you don't have to.
