These were my first voice lessons ever. Lessons are fun. Deborah has lots of helpful advice and encouragement.
No lessons yet but they will happen. Mike has been so prompt and pleasant in comunicating with me.
Paige is a very good voice instructor. She is very nice and very patient with me even though I am just a beginner. She helps me understand the fundamental of breathing and how to release the tension from my throat while singing. I have a great improvement after two classes.
Kaila is hands down one of the best Vocal Instructors in the WORLD. She is super professional as well as educated on the craft of singing. She has taught me things about my voice that have been benificial to my career as an artist. I will carry the tools she has provided me for the rest of my life.
I have taken bass lessons from a handful of instructors over the years. Ariane is different. She has explained things to me that I have either never heard or never understood in new ways that help me to connect the dots. She makes the lessons fun and always challenges me and encourages me to stretch myself while giving me to the tools to do so. Do not hesitate to give hear a test drive.
John Faye is an excellent vocal teacher. Not only did he help me understand my voice, but he helped me understand a little bit more about myself as a person. He infuses music and life together as one, which I can now confidently say is the best way to approach this craft.
I have been taking beginning voice lessons with Michele for several months. She is very positive and encouraging, is excellent on the piano and good at finding songs that suit your voice and style. Thanks Michele.
I've been taking singing lessons with Cherie for about a year. I've always wanted to perform at open mics and maybe start a band but I knew I had some work to do before feeling confident. So I started singing lessons with Cherie to help prepare me for performance but we also spent a lot of time growing my voice. I realized I had a much bigger range than I'd thought. BTW - I'm also a beginner guitarist and we sometimes have guitar lessons too. She's a great guitarist and singer. So I really feel like she's the best out there for that type of work. If you want to not only work on your voice but learn how to perform and have a fun time in general - I'd book Cherie for lessons. She's a pro :-)
I have co-lead sound healing workshops with Carrie for victims of the Lake County Fires in 2015. Carrie is sweet, professional, a kind leader & has a beautiful voice. We have also both taught students at Live Musicians Coop in Santa Rosa, Ca. I highly recommend her for voice lessons.
I love music, and I am passionate about teaching music, I was fortunate to have a great mentor who taught me and he always told me to pass on what I have learned to others.

Every student is unique, not only in their abilities and learning styles, but also in what they want to achieve and even why they want to take lessons in the first place. Whether you want to learn the classical Bel-canto style or just want to explore the joy of singing, my goal is to help my students find their voice by creating a lesson plan as unique as they are. All ages and levels are welcome!

Learn to sing! As a classically trained opera singer, I offer a variety of services, ranging from performances for weddings and funerals to individual voice lessons or group vocal lessons. I have my bachelor's degree in music, with an emphasis in vocal performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and have been performing in the Bay area for almost 15 years. I currently teach voice lessons out of my studio in Novato, CA. I love teaching people of all ages to sing, and my only requirement for children who are interested in singing lessons is that they are old enough to be able to read. If you are interested in taking lessons from me, please feel free to call me, and we can set up a complimentary introductory lesson to discuss your goals and find out if we are a good match as teacher and student.
