- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Phone or Video Initial Consultation - FREE - Approx. 30 min consult on the phone or over video to discuss training options. Remote Video Training - $75 - Up to 60 min private training and consulting session over video chat, depending on the topics covered. At-Home Initial Consultation - $100 - Approx. one hour session at your home to assess you dog and provide a recommended training plan. At-Home Private Training - $150* - Approx one hour session at your home or public location covering obedience and behavior modification based on the needs of you and your dog. *within 30min drive (normal traffic) of Woodland Hills. Additional travel fee will be added if you are further, based on the additional distance/time. Contact me with your location for a personalized quote*
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I start with an initial consultation to discuss training options, better understand what training you are looking for and find out more information about your dog. Then we would design a training plan that fits you and your dog and schedule some appointments to work at least once a week on the issues that matter most.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am the owner of K9SF Dog Training headquartered in Minneapolis, MN. We have recently expanded our business to Southern California. I have over 10 years of experience working with dogs. My experience comes from working as a Police Narcotics K9 Handler in Tennessee, an Attack/Narcotics K9 Handler for the Dept of Defense in Afghanistan, an Explosive K9 Handler for the Dept of State at the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, and I currently work for a big name movie production company as an Explosive K9 Handler on Hollywood Blvd for movie premieres. I have helped private clients, such as yourself, for the past 5 years as a private dog trainer in Minneapolis. I specialize in working with larger breed dogs, such as German Shepards, but have experience working with breeds of all sizes and temperaments and enjoy helping clients and their dogs improve communication and reach their training goals. I have attended three different K9 Schools, one in Savanna, GA, one in San Antonio, TX, and one in Kabul, Afghanistan.
