I booked our move with Garrett. He was very responsive and helpful. Garrett suggested 3 movers was the best way to go. Garrett, Dejon and Brazil were our movers and I could not be more pleased. They moved quickly and efficiently through out the morning to get it all loaded. Furniture was taken apart, shelves removed and everything wrapped up carefully. You can see in photo#1 the frame to a bed wrapped up. We had to put a lot in a storage unit so we made 2 stops. Photo #2 is at storage unit. They knew how to unload the items, get on elevator and pack the storage unit. Garrett had reassured me that it would fit in my 10x10 unit so he had already relieved my anxiety but see photo #3 for just how great a job they did! Leaving there we made the last stop at the new house and they quickly unloaded the rest of the truck. They have a great attitude and made the move as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend J&G! We will use again. Thank you Garrett, Brazil and Dejon for a great job! I personally think you’re all smart, strong and good looking! 3 movers made the job faster- so I appreciate that! Give this company a try as they are great!

We couldn’t have picked a better company to use. They responded right away after scheduling and explained/asked every little detail that made our move so easy. The 2 guys who came to haul our things to our new place were very nice and on time. Also quick and efficient!! Would totally recommend and use again if/when we move again.

I have been dreading this move. This has been our largest yet as we move from renters to homeowners. With such an important move to such an important place for us, we were more than ecstatic with our experience from beginning to end with J&G. John was more than patient with all my questions and concerns regarding the move prior booking. He then repeated to answer the same questions and concerns that my bf had. We never felt pressured or rushed. When the movers arrived, they were nothing less than professional and patient with all our concerns. Nothing beats the quality and efficiency of this team. We had an OLED tv that they handled with extreme care. Between the multiple tvs, all carefully wrapped, 4 large appliances, tables, chairs and so much more, the dream team finished with time to spare! I couldn’t believe it. We thought it was a minimum of 8 hours and we were unsure if everything would fit but they made it all happen and more. Dave was their backend, making sure items were disassembled properly and labeled with care. He ensured all things were properly taken care of. Vejan made short work of moving all our appliances and large items. He moved it all with such ease and careful precision so as not to damage any walls or floors, you’d think this was a breeze. Aaron came in with the assist and helped pack and move things around as needed. With Jason on the team as the jack of all trades, the fantastic four had the perfect balance. I’m a person that remains forever loyal once I find someone that performs beyond expectations and with utmost quality and integrity. We’ll definitely be recommending John and his crew to anyone that’s in need of movers. We also personally would not be using anyone else moving forward if we’re ever in need of another move. I did not get to take many photos as we were all busy but the dogs loved them too!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a very straight forward and easy going company. We have absolutely no hidden fees, every charge will be explained during the estimate. We only charge for two things: 1. For local moving we charge by an hourly rate of $50 per crew member. These labor charges include truck, moving pads, and furniture dollies, and also disassembly and reassembly of furniture.Each job is different and every job requires a different amount of movers. 2. Material which is tape, shrink wrap, boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, mattress protectors, crates( for delicate items such as tvs,paintings) etc. If you supply the material the day of the move then you will only be looking at labor charges.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We provide free in home estimates for our new clients which includes a walk thru of there old home and there new home and the process of the actual move. At the end of the estimate the client is left with the decision of moving forward with us at no charge and no obligation. If decided to move forward these are the next couple of steps: -Pick a date and time - Get booked in ( client receives contract via email) - We take a deposit to hold your date ( once deposit is made we guarantee arrival) - We check in the day prior to make sure client is still on track and ready for pack/move - Foreman will check in prior to being dispatched and arrival. -Once the team arrives the clock starts -Once job is completed clock stops
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We both started off as regular movers and worked our way to foreman and then eventually overseeing the companies we worked for. We were able to accomplish this because of our work ethics and meeting the needs of our clients.
