My experience was (and is) alarming. After several reschedules Andres showed up and told me he completed the job and everything went well and that part of the fee was subsequent visits (quarterly) to keep everything in order. Well they haven't showed up and my entire sprinkler system is a mess and I have called 10 times and texted 10 times and no matter what I do he doesn't return my calls. He has disappeared. I don't know if he is a crook or just very very busy or perhaps he has fallen ill. But regardless I would expect a correspondence to know what is going on.Apr 7, 2017VerifiedAndre V.'s reply
Hello Adam am sorry that you feel that we didn't do what was contracted and paid for back in September 2016 ,however as you know you hired a 30 year irrigation professional and after a 2 hour free assessment of your beautiful Beverly Hills property We submitted a quote ( which was a fair if not below the industries standard ) and you demanded that a discount and as a professional and wanted your business with already below quote we gave you another discount which came to a 40% discount ! (which that equals to 2 free fruit trees and the installation on a hillside and all the amendments that was contracted for ) We completed the job 1/12 day as scheduled but because of your very busy we arrive several times to find all the entries to the property was locked and there was a few times that we were asked to leave because of filming and the production co asked us to leave as well but we understood and rescheduled . We did come out 5 more times to check both the irrigation and the 2 planted trees on the hill side ( we had to enter from street side all other entries were locked ) and I explained to you before and after that you need your Gardner to cut back all the overgrown foliage so both the irrigation and the fruit trees can operate and grow properly that hasn't been done as a business man yourself you know that one can't make money by always discounting an already below the industries standards . Am sorry that your not happy with us and I hope the best for you.
Andre did a revamp of our sprinkler system by changing out old and improper heads. He also changed the improper pvc lines to the brown one. Andre certainly knows his stuff and I highly recommend his service. I also like the fact that he will return for check up. His price was fair and reasonable. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?All systems have different needs some are already exsisting and others need all new install so all need to be looked at however in some cases we can give a verbal on a basic repair like a leaking valves,broken pipe replacing a controller please call to discuss.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Irrigation is pretty simple it's "Water Management " knowing where and when to water most exciting system just need upgrade and educating the customer on both managing and knowing their landscaping.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I started irrigation in a local hardware store and after a few years I landed a Irrigation Tech with a local city in the public works and learn both commercial and residential irrigation and attended several classes on water management and continue to install,repair and educate the public.
