Remodel reason
Work needed
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: A simple reason, you get to work 1 on 1 with our owner, Chris Lambert. In his prior life as a violin and furniture maker, he was trained to develop an eye for detail and unique but functional design. The team he has developed and surrounded himself with will always strive to make whatever they build the best and in a reasonable amount of time to do such. Our clients like to know that each and every job we perform, we treat it as a masterpiece. Standing back at the end of a big project and looking at what we have put together as a team. Doing work for our clients who really appreciate the beauty of the craftsmanship in a place where they are glad to pay for someone who cares enough to do an excellent job. We like working with different clients and being creative, and most of all being independent.

I hired Chris and his crew do repair work on a deck that sits on top of a flat roof. The deck was in bad shape due to poor maintenance by previous owners and the roof had developed a leak, so the idea was to pull up the deck, fix the leak and then build a new deck. Chris quoted a reasonable price and his team worked efficiently to get the job done. Overall, the carpentry on the deck looks great. I did take issue with the way they did one thing, and though it was a pain to fix, Chris made it happen when I asked. The fix solved most of the leak, but during a particularly heavy storm several months later, we started to see water again (far less than before). During the first fix, Chris mentioned that he felt confident, but not 100%, that the leak was in one spot, and therefore didn't recommend replacing the whole roof at the time. Turns out there was another spot that no one could've seen without completely taking the roof off. So Chris' team came back and he brought in a specialist to give me a new, commercial-quality flat roof and then put the deck back together. That work looked super impressive. So, my experience with Chris in terms of work has been good and he and his team were easy to deal with. I appreciate that he tried to save me money by working to avoid replacing the whole roof unnecessarily, and it made sense given what we could see (we went over it together in person). In hindsight the only thing I wish he had done differently was say something like "conservative route costs $x, aggressive route costs 1.2x now but 1.3x if we do it later" then and let me choose. But hindsight's 20/20...based on what we could see the path we chose made plenty of sense. Also, Rudy from the crew noticed that my gate latch was broken and fixed it without asking and it really made my day because that thing had been bugging me for weeks!

Chris is a professional. Accurate quotes, on time, meticulous, and clean. We did a built in refrigerator, vent hood with external blower, and some cabinetry. I'm really pleased with the work.

These guys came in to do a semi-custom cabinet job . I hired chris and he sends me someone else who mucks up the whole thing. They then come back and try to correct his mistakes; they take no time at the end to go over things and make sure you can even open all the cabinets without things falling apart. The best part was that they essentially ran out at the end of the day before any inspection with no plan to ever complete the job, and then had the audacity to send me a huge bill. I have had to spend $1000s to fix their screwups and shortcuts. Avoid these guys at all costs!

I apologize, he should not have been there alone or without supervision. I think we both know you were asking for something above and beyond a typical install that was both risky and difficult, and you were informed that it might not look great. As far as not staying to make sure all the cabinet doors open without falling apart, I think you're exaggerating in general. We worked 12 hours that day to try and finish for you and unfortunately, it didn't happen. As you know I had other work scheduled the next day and said I would be in touch shortly to confirm when someone would be available to come and do final adjustments to the doors.
