- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an avid performer- I play with Celtic group Delilah's Revenge & with classical duet Colorado Classic Duo. I am an also an adult student: I started learning the harp last year to help me gain perspective on learning a new instrument. I regularly attend ASTA conferences for professional development as well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take trial lessons- make sure you get along well with whoever you choose to be your teacher. A music teacher can be a long lasting relationship- it's important to find someone that you can take gentle criticism from.
