I utilized Krista as a consultant for several hours during my divorce, and frankly she couldn't have been better. I tried a few other consults, but they were impersonal and almost cold. Divorce is intimidating to even begin research, and the internet is rife with half-answers and misinformation engaging for-hire lawyers at an hourly rate. And these lawyers are expensive, and therefore always have a vested business interest in billable hours and time. Needless to say, answering quickly and efficiently is not in their best interest. Krista was the opposite of this; she had real world examples and anecdotes, specializing in Colorado divorce and mediation which she has done for well over a decade now. She was able to remove emotion from the equation and talk about the law while putting me at ease. This directly led to my ex-wife and I settling on numbers and proposals that were amicable and not adversarial. Although an unpleasant time emotionally, Krista kept everything on the table and helped tremendously. She's passionate about helping people out-- it is her specialty (and she could have charged more), and I couldn't recommend anyone else as highly.

Krista at Method Mediation combines excellent financial management skills with excellent mediation skills to obtain an optimal, balanced and legally protected outcome for members of a couple at a very emotionally vulnerable time in their lives. Her rates are very reasonable relative to the cost of many other professional services selected by members of the couple in working through a divorce and are gauged to preserve the couple's financial resources at a very difficult time in their lives. She helps in the preparation of documents required by courts in Colorado and provides specific procedures on the procedures and location to complete this procedure. I have referred Krista's services to counselors in other related fields, physicians and friends/acquaintances. I first learned of Method Mediation and Krista from a trusted friend who worked in another area of mediation and who was very familiar with Krista's wonderful skills.

Our mediators provide services at their hourly rate ranging from $75-$95 hour per person. We will determine the issues that require attention and determine the scope and cost of our work together.

I speak briefly with each party to understand the issues. Together we determine the needs and the best mediation and/or coaching technique to meet those needs. Then, we meet and mediate.
