Introduction: I have over 15 years teaching experience in both piano and vocal settings. I have coached musicians of all ages and have worked in group and individual settings. I work to meet each client where they are and help them get to the next level of musical achievement. She is an amazing teacher, with tons of patience. She has been part of our family, music family, for over 14 years. My older daughter began taking lessons at a very early age and was then recommended to take from an advanced teacher. Now, my younger daughter is taking lessons, and progressing beautifully.

Amy White has been teaching piano to my three kids for more than six years. Each of them, starting with her as a beginner, has made tremendous progress. She is always cheerful and encouraging, but she also keeps them focused on making progress from week to week. Along with her expertise at piano instruction, Amy is a great voice teacher. She has sung at venues around the world and directs the Cherrytones in Denver. If you're looking for a piano and/or voice instructor, Amy should really be the first person you call.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in music performance and have over 15 years of teaching and performing experience. I have worked in a variety of teaching, performing and musical directing settings and with students of a wide variety of ages and abilities. I have been a member of the National Association for Music Education and the Jazz Education Network.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have had a love of music since I started playing piano at age 7. Performing music is a fantastic way to express oneself and build self confidence and I love to share this with all of my students.
