Copy Editing Basic (correct spelling & punctuation) $25 per hour Heavy Basic (above) plus grammar & usage, alternate word/phrase suggestions, specific client requests $35 per hour Website copy editing $35 per hour Proposal review (grants, contracts) $35 per hour Resume editing $25 per hour Resume writing $40 per hour Cover letter writing $25 per hour Transcription $1 per audio minute Basic copy editing - student research/term papers $1 per page Other editing/writing services By request - TBD
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A customer can send an email with general information about the project. I can follow up with a phone call to discuss the overall project, specific requests, deadlines, fees, methods of payment and turnaround times. I offer a 20% discount for first-time clients and I love repeat business!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a lifelong reader and writer with a Master of Education in Literacy. I also taught middle school English for 10 years, and have outrageous stories to share!
