We hired Rodney to fix out split rail fence and add a gate. Not only did he finished in one day but everything looked great! As a result we have hired him for numerous projects. We had him build a fence over the ditch in our backyard, build a bricked mailbox, and we just hired he and his son to tile/lay stone in our newly created mud room. Rodney does excellent work, is on time, does what he says he's going to do with expert skills and as a bonus he's quite personable. He's a great resource to have and we plan to keep in on our list of resources and would recommend him to our friends.
I hired Mountain Top to take down a 25' high interior brick wall, and a smaller brick fireplace suround. Steve is an experienced mason and knows exactly the best way to take apart the wall without damaging the house. Steve and his crew were extremly careful with our house and did a super clean-up of the area. In fact, he even mopped the floors! I intend to use Mountain Top for additional work.
I would have given White Mountain 5 stars if the time involved and the owner’s (Mel) oversight had been better, but overall I was very happy with the work, and the price was significantly lower than other bids I received. My project included rebuilding brick garage walls that had literally crumbled and some minor tuckpointing on the front of the house. The first estimate I received to fix the garage was $14,000(!); White Mountain charged less than $3000 and the mason Raul did an EXCELLENT job with this. At first I was not happy with the tuckpointing on the front of the house because the grout used was a different color than the original, but Raul re-did this and the result was much better. The reasons I did not give a five star rating are 1) After the original work was done I found that part of the garage wasn’t finished and I called to have Raul return. He did return and finish the job, but it took a very long time to accomplish this. The project was started September 23rd and finished October 1st, but it took until October 31st to complete everything with the corrections. 2) Mel (the owner) did not come over to check the work while it was being done or after is was completed. I was mostly pleased with the company: Mel communicated well and always responded promptly to messages I left for him; Raul was prompt, reliable and did great work and as I said, the price was fantastic. I did become frustrated toward the end while I was waiting for the job to be completed and I feel that this could have been accomplished more quickly than it was. If you are a patient person and not in a hurry to complete your project you will be very happy with White Mountain Masonry!
Kelly with Curb Appeal Masonry came to fix mortar cracks in my stone siding. It was for a home inspection. He was very responsive when I reached out and made the soonest appointment his schedule allowed. His work was done well and my home looks great. Some of his fixes dried so fast I couldn't tell where the crack had been. I would highly recommend Curb Appeal Masonry.
I hired Sean Comer at 1016 Masonry to repair brickwork in the front of my home and also to repair cracked concrete in a couple of areas. He and his assistant did an excellent job and were very thorough. They also cleaned up the entire area to my satisfaction when they were finished. I would definitely recommend Sean to anyone who is in need of masonry/concrete repairs.
The team with Stucco and Stone Masons were enjoyable to work with. They showed up promptly every day and worked nearly without taking breaks! They were responsive and made changes until they achieved the look, feel and texture I wanted as I was trying to match the stucco pattern of our 90 year old home. They wanted to make sure I was getting what I wanted and would be happy with the results. They cleaned everything up once the job was completed and took the trash with them. They clearly have a ton of experience with finishing walls with stucco and stucco like products and working with setting stone with mortar. It was helpful that I speak a bit of Spanish!
I am more than happy with the job done by Stone Wolf Masonry and I would recommend them without any hesitation. Nick was professional and personable from start to finish. He and his partner cleared out all the weeds in our yard, leveled the ground and prepared it to lay sod and mulch. They came when they said they would, and they worked quickly, efficiently and with attention to detail. Their original quote spelled out what our costs would be and we received excellent service for a very reasonable price!
Antonio did a great job! We had a project that turned into an emergency and Antonio made it happen and worked late to get it done. The brick Tuckpointing matched perfectly!
